Just bought this combo, is anyone using the same or similar?

my tap water is soft I'm not sure if that matters and it has very little calcium in it

Hi all, hi ST, Just for Comparison, my water is nut cracking Hard but I don’t have any issues with it. As yet that is.

That's about half of my tap Ca levels. I would at least keep an eye on it. If you see white dust collecting on your pre-filter then I would switch to demineralized. IMHO, YMMV, etc.

I did try adding Calmag a few seasons back, but it really didn’t do anything to help More unhelpful for me.

We all go by what are used to. My state sits on limestone aquifer so I know it isn't good for radiators, batteries, growing, or anything else needing water unless I want to deal with the calcium deposits that come with it.....
