Live Stoner Chat Just a lady, looking to get dirty

Thanks! I'm currently playing with the idea of organic mix where I just water it. I have zero grow experience . Im thinking soil is the best to start with. Biobizz was mentioned but I am not familiar with it. I thought it was hydro only lol.
No, hydro isnt just growing in water. Coco is a form of hydro growing, I thought the same before I started to grow too. I think it's closer to soil than soiless but not sure. Only use 2-3x till bags were gone. I have gone back to promix, I'm more at home with it. Good luck, if you have more questions just ask.

If you can get your hands on BioBizz Premix, that's a great soil builder, I've seen people water only, start to finish with a top dress midway through. You aint getting much simpler than that.

Fish Mix is the best product from BioBizz. I love this stuff, and the plants and soil do too. You can, with attention and love, run an Auto on only Fish Mix, start to finish. No Bloom, no boosters, and the end product is so tasty. Beware though, the smell is akin to the devils own arsehole, DO NOT spill this stuff, you'll lose 50% of your house value, and probably all your neighbours :crying:

But if your starting out, it could be a little daunting, it might be worth 'getting your eye in' with an easier regime.

Fish Mix and Bloom, a light mix, water. Job done.

No PH, no PPM, just tapwater (depends on your water quality) and some TLC, you'll be growing top shelf worthy buds in no time

Thanks.
Recap. Biobizz premix (like their light mix). Fish mix and bloom for nutes.

Feed every watering with fish and bloom? After seedling stage I assume.

I really appreciate the help. I am a former teacher but medical issues makes absorbing new information tedious.

Pre mix is a powder that you mix in with your light mix, it's rich and the plants feed off that, you just feed water, maybe a top dress midway through, but you have to be on your toes, and probably not the best way to try and cut your teeth, so I would recommend using Fish Mix, and Bloom, tried and tested for years

Start with fish mix at 1ml per liter, and build up as the plant gets bigger peaking around 3-4ml depending on plant size, then when it autoflowers overlap the fishmix with the introduction of bloom, then slowly up bloom, and lower the fish mix. Stop using fish mix around day 40ish

there is a great thread, with loads of info, a few feeding scedules by various BioBizz users

loads of questions and myths busted in this thread

And yes, always feed, you can always back off, if you think your over feeding, but never feed plain water until the end

And don't water to run off, keep all the liquid in the pot

I hope this helps ya

Huge help. Thank you lots and lots. Time for more research lol

Don't let the info drown ya, it's really not hard, or complicated. And the only way to learn is to "get dirty" :crying:
You'll make mistakes, but it's all good in the end, at the start of your apprenticeship, always grow an extra plant or 2, just incase

But you should see some of my pals, toothless simpletons, not a braincell spare between them, and they grow some AMAZING herb, as an ex teacher, you already have an advantage

Hello!
I've been poking around doing some reading and figured I should say hello. I'm a Michigan medical patient and my needs are out growing my bank account .

I'm hoping to start my first grow this weekend. I'm going the organic route and my Gelato auto by fastbuds should be on its way. I'm super nervous about this. I'm not expecting it to go well but I'm not sure I'll be able to convince the partner to buy more seeds if it doesn't.

Looking forward to learning and growing :smokeit:
Stay safe.
Welcome to AFN!
