A small update on my babies. A couple more sprouts have popped. Will post pics on Sunday. Can't wait to see what her leaf pattern is like.

Sorry my update pics are a day late was sick yesterday "Grrr". Also thank you for all the get well karma. I always feel loved n like family here. :hug:

All of my babies got .5ml of Cal/Mag and 2.5ml of botanicare compost tea to 400ml of water. This was split between all 3 cups.







Not really sure what is going on with some of the leaves. Looks like something ate at them but tent is clean. Who knows.

If anyone can zoom in on cup #2 n look at the leaves on my plant can u please tell me what's up with it. Looks like the tips of the leaf were either eaten or just didn't develop. Not sure. Would like some opinions. Ty

I believe It could be a mutant, I have one that started out the same...But I have seen that then find a lil bug, Id watch to see it doesn't keep happening and do a real good inspection.

Juliet, I had the same thing happen to my leaves in the 16oz contest, it's just a weird mutation but the following sets will be normal - a few people have grown plants out that started like that you'll be fine

Hi Mz. J' - I see no sing of bug munching, the tips just came out odd in formation,... look at the ends- all tip usual serration bumps are still there, just really blunted.... early leaves sometime do funny things.... when they're so small, and growing quickly, minor stresses make some odd things happen! It's not happening in the other leaves, so this is all physical, not genetic.... I'll be back later, to catch up here and Bromeos.... *** the emoticons aren't loading up onto the page for me, are you having issues with that as well? I'mm buzz brother GA6...

...it looks to be what we have been calling the "Fang Trait"...i can see it in the other one also...good thing about it, is they are females that do it 9 times out of 10...:thumbs:...it's nothing to worry about though my friend...it's usually just the first set that does it...all the rest will be fine....:High 5:....Happy Growing!....:smokebuds:
