Indoor JP1 way over my head

10 plants in a 3x3 tub kinda sets off my ocd apparently. 9 or 8 was the plan.
No symmetry  Suggestions welcome. Rather not cull any and I probably gotta get the drip lines run by next weekend so I need to figure something out. Think I'm just gonna put the row of 4 where it's hardest to reach just so I can get to the others easier  Probably gonna drop the net over them eventually since I've never grown in 1 gallon coco pots so I'm not really sure on the size to expect. I've seen these lights seem to grow tall plants and I've only got like 45in to work with.

1 week old. Hand watering 16oz every other day per plant. 200ppm tap water and calmag plus 250ppm feed. Bottom left is the wmd that can't be seen but is like twice the size of the rest of the squad at this point

Light stress? Only thing I can think of. New light and I've never put a light this close to plants before. Photon app says 200 ppfd but just looks awfully bright to me. Maybe the app doesn't work for my phone? Calibrated it with the Mars par charts. Turned it down and raised it up. The Galaxy Brain and livers are taking it the hardest

Bouncing back from the light stress. Had to be what it was since not much else has changed. Having major problems with the drip system that I didn't have at all the last time I ran it, probably because of way more drippers running. Drip depot was out of connectors when I put it all together so I went with rainbird ones and like 4 out of 10 of them are leaking big time. And I'm pretty sure I'm getting a siphoning thing going on with the drippers still dripping with the pump turned off and I'm sucking gallons out of the tray at a time :face: Connectors finally in stock and on the way and I'm gonna put the rez on the floor to get it lower then the plants to hopefully stop the siphoning thing. Rez is on a platform next to the tent that's a little higher up since it was originally for autopots and I needed the gravity. I guess with the pump it doesn't work that way but, but didn't have these problems last time with kinda the same stuff. Pics are from right after foliar calmag, so droopy but can still see the bounceback from the stress. 225ppm tap and calmag plus 350ppm nutes. Galaxy Brain that was one of the 2 worst stressed was the first to 5 nodes and was topped yesterday

What are you using for drip emitters? I had that issue when i tried not using emitters...My rez is on a stand 2-3' up too.. I am using .5gph emitters when i put those in line it's stopped siphoning but I also use a backflow preventer not sure if it is needed but i put one inline as with a 25psi pressure regulator

Using 1gph drippers. Where did you find a backflow preventer? I haven't been able to find anything that fits 1/2in. Got some 1/2in ones that are for fuel but they're definitely not 1/2in

Lowes near me but check your local one first not all have drip irrigation section found that out when I stopped at different on way home last weekend. This is what i got just picked up second setup to separate solo's... backflow preventer right onto the regulator then adaptors to 1/2" I put the regulator and backflow preventer right at the pump

Ah, so you're using adapters at the ends and garden hose parts in between? I like this idea

Yup exactly not even sure if that stuff is needed for our application but figured it won't hurt. It should at least stop feed from going back into the rez:biggrin:...it has taken a few trips back and forth and some extra fittings but starting to get somewhere i think too stoned seems I always get home go shit i need this fitting:oops1: I hate plumbing :crying:

I've been thinking about ways to make the ones I got fit in line but it really seems like the problem isn't that it's backfilling into the rez, but it never stops coming out of the rez and the drippers continue to slowly drip the whole time the pump is off. I think it's kinda working like if you suck gas out of a gas tank with your mouth, it keeps pouring out kinda thing. My last run, with these same parts, would backfill into the rez and I don't think it caused any problems

Yup I know exactly what you mean..But I only have that issue without my emitters installed..I am setting up pump right now Here it is :d5:inline filter at the top then out the rez..any more pics I will put in my thread if needed
