Late report on The HSO grow. Life has gotten much busier but I wanted to share the end of this grow.
All plants have now been harvested and I have plenty of pics to go around.
Harvested the
Remo fed GC on June 24th/Day 56 a bit past HSO's time frame but still ready at a quick rate. Can't believe I forgot to take pictures of the plant on harvest date. She was ready with 5% amber and looked great. Sticky and easy to trim.
June 27th day 58 of flower saw Remo fed OGKZ and Mantis fed OGKZ chopped.
Remo fed has stickier, denser buds.
Mantis fed plant was the largest of this grow with over 500 grams wet although she had big lighter more airy buds with less resin.
Will test it an a week or so.
June 30th day 61 saw Mantis fed GC and the Bruce banger cut down and trimmed to dry.
Though I had problem with keeping this plant healthy it surpassed all expectations.
The flowers were very sticky and super dense. Not a huge producerbut very sativa like as it tried to grow well past 3 ft if I had not suppercropped her.
This was a test of new MH sp250's in a 4x4 tent using 2 different nutrients while testing HSO's Fast Flowering Green Crack and
OGKZ.
The plants definitely finish fast and the overall quality of flower is very good with 1 exception in terms of look and feel. I have yet to test them all and will report next week on that.
The jury is out on the nutrients,
Remo is a little more difficult to mix and get used to. It grow good healthy plants and the price is good. I always have to scale back on the concentration.
Mantis buffered all in one is a snap to use but I did have to add xtra cal/mag to the coco/. It grows well and the ph stayed balanced for the most part with slow swings up. Drawback for Mantis is the price. Even at the much reduced price I was offered for testing. I probably won't continue using it. Otherwise it grows nicely.
The MH sp250's had their first grow and they were bright and more then adequate but I need to see a bit better my next couple grows to be convinced they can do a great job in a 4x4 tent. I may add another 150 watts to better cover the entire canopy
It was a pleasure to test HSO's new cultivars and I hope I did them justice.
Thanks
@HSO-Mark and everyone foe dropping by.
