OLD REVIEWS Jesus

Good Morning All!
Today is Day 36 of flowering. She was just fed 4 grams of MegaCrop 1/2 teaspoon of Bud Explosion. As she is in full flower it appears she needs water/nutes every 3 days. Close up and full plant pics. What do you folks think?

@Jackson - Looking mighty fine!

The lower leaves yellowing, at a distance are hard to diagnose. It doesn't look like N deficiency, but at the same time I doesn't fit into any other def, 'cos they're expressing from the lowest leaves. This usually happens when the girls sacrifice them to mobilise nutrients over to the top. Nothing to worry about.

It is usual for leaves to start dying out during flowering. It is very rare for a grower to go through flowering without leafs starting to yellow, over purpling, necrosing, drying out, etc. It is part of the game. Unless you're using known photoperiod clones and really dial in the feed to cater to their specific demands in each stage, this is expected.

99% of the plant looks ace, so just keep what you're doing. Unless that symptom starts spreading, don't change a thing. Simply let those leaves yellow off, then remove them, and keep monitoring new growth. New growth is more critical than old leaves.

@Groff i think it’s because the light isn’t reaching down under

@Groff i think it’s because the light isn’t reaching down under

That is not how plants work. One thing is to be light deprived, the other is lower canopy of a plant that doesn't gets good light. NPK is mobile, so either there is a plant wide deficiency, or they just move stuff around. Only a few micro nutrients are immobile.

Your symptom is a classic case of N deficiency, where older (and lower) leaves are sacrificed as reserves to provide the upper leaves (and more important) with the overall lack in N.

My only reservation here is that usually in N deficiency, a leaf will gradually turn pale green then yellow all over at the same time all over, and not burn. Just yellow out and fall off. While in your pics it is clear it is forming from the tip inwards - which could suggest a K deficiency (also affects older and lower leaves). Except I'm not 100% convinced as usually K deficiency is quite fast to provoke necrosis - really burnt leaf tip that go chocolate brown fast and I don't see that just yet.

This is 100% not lights related. Best is to keep posting regular updates

@Waira what do you think? I think it’s a light issue not reaching bottom and interior leaves. @Groff

Now we do start seeing the necrosis from the tips inwards as I mentioned @Jackson. You have early and slow onset of K def.

Some may argue it looks like Sulphur deficiency, except this happens on new growth, not old.

@Groff i am using the newest version of MegaCrop and Bud Explosion which is loaded with P and K. Maybe I need to up the feed. Thank you very much for ur help

Ok @Groff i was able to raise my light another 6” for a total of 18” above the top. I’ll take a better picture tomorrow if you look at the top of main cola I believe there is some bleaching so hopefully the raised led will stop it. It’s hard to see in the tent because of lighting @Dabber @Fitzy @Waira @MR magoo @Mizzo81

Any MegaCrop and Bud Explosion users know can or should you use more than 4 grams of MegaCrop and 1/2 teaspoon of Bud Explosion?
