My two largest Jems, planted 9/3-4 seem well except for the newer leaves close to the bud growths are 'claw' type....They both received fishmix at first watering...now getting light doses of biobloom & fishmix....they are in humboldt soil water is well water....same as everything else....but only the Jems show this claw like new leaves.....

N toxicity is what i am thinking. They call it "eagle Claws" Some thing in your nute mix upped it more than she liked. At least it wasn't enough to burn her.

TBM didn't steer you wrong. Just back off some of the nutes a bit, or which ever one is adding the extra N.

Thanks yall.........she's growing in nuteless humboldt soil......flushed her good yesterday....Actually both my Jems show the same 'claw' young leaves but seem very healthy otherwise....As patient as I usually am, I really want these Jems to do good...probably watching too close! LOL...they were just sprouting well when I went through the major spidermite infestation...that had me over treating everything....lost several seedlings....due to my knee jerk reaction....If ya ever want to see just how many webs CAN be there...just dust with DE...!
These two Jems show a squat pheno in one and a lanky with the other...both budding well and a very dark green compared to others around them....look like they'll be some juicy ladies soon...

Probably the nitrates in your well water. I just picked up a nice RO/DI unit off ebay for like 130 bucks, 100gal/day. I let it fill up 2 40g containers so I have enough to replace rez's. 0ppm is nice.

Yes, I admit peeking in to check things a lot is hard to change since I'm here almost all the time!....I seldom get'em out of the tent unless GF is here to help...until several months ago, I took pics of each lady at least once a week....watching the transition like that is certainly an eye opener...can be a totally positive (or otherwise) response to whacha been doing for ya ladies.......Thanks gang...

haha...im on the same page as you. Peaking in all the time. I just now bought a timer to help me slow down with all the excess time in there. Everytime i used to cut on my lights i would be in there blowing on them and talking about how pretty they look for a good hour or more. lol

Can't understand why it took me so long to get a timer tho...procrastination i guess. But im loving it now.
