Grow Mediums Jelly's Autopots

Hi all it's been three years since I've grown anything... Life hit me hard but I finally could afford some Autopots and decided to give it a go again. Didn't realize how much I've missed it honestly. It's been fun so far and I'm already planning my next grow. Here's my setup:

4'x4' tent with 6 Autocobs
Root trapper ii 5 gallon pots
Roots organics soil with 1 lb. Nature's living soil autoflower amendment
Strains: Mephisto manbearalienpig and stilton special

I'm only growing two at the moment, sharing the tent with two of my roommates plants but I've ordered two more Autopots and this tent will be all mine!

It's mostly water only with weekly top waterings. Top waterings seem to be possible with Autopots and organics. The only thing in my res is water and mammothP.

Here you can see what I'm using (I made this late in the grow which is why markings start at week 8 lol) as you can see it's mostly buildasoil products. It's on the smaller side for no till but since the root trappers have a lining on the side to slow down evaporation and the Autopots are keeping it moist I believe it can work at keeping the microbes alive. And I've thrown a few worms in there too.

1st day was Nov 19th so we're somewhere in week 13.

The plants started off slowly maybe due to old seeds and cold temps.

Things finally started happening though

The MBAP was freaky this branch started off as a quad leaf and then self topped itself

For some reason the plants never stretched and stayed small and bushy. (Only did LST + defoliation for airflow.) I actually kinda like this structure way easier to maintain and I get all giant colas.

And here we are today!

She's a little more ahead than her sister I might chop her in a week. Nice cheesy smell with a hint of sweetness

MBAP:
She stayed so small but due to her longer veg she caught up in size. Her budsites stacked so tightly it's a thing of beauty. She's still in her bud swell phase so let's see how fat she gets. Smells sweet and sour.

I was worried with Autopots they'd be massive but I guess with soil + organics they stay small which as I said earlier I kind of prefer. Also now I believe I can squeeze 4 Autopots in there!

All in all it's good to be back at AFN. This community is great.

Just started week 14. I harvested the Stilton special on Monday and will probably harvest the MBAP in a week. Top watered with recharge, buildabloom, and ful power.

Still seeing some clear trichs but starting to see a little amber on the MBAP

In the meantime I got my other two pots mixed up and am getting ready for my next grow.

Harvested MBAP earlier today, sorry for lack of pics it was on a whim and I usually harvest during the dark period. She was going long enough lol... And she had some amber finally. And regarding the dark period my friend sent this to me which made sense:

Timing the harvest is Paramount to the final quality. Harvest your precious buds in the dark, just before the lights normally come on. If possible, do not allow the plants to see direct light as long as their roots are attached. Direct light on a plant will draw up stored starches and sugars from the root system.

During the nighttime hours, our ladies are busy storing food down in their root system that they made during the daylight hours. During “lights out,” starches and sugars produced by photosynthesis during the day drain downward to the roots. Knowing this, it is easy to figure out that you want to cut your plants away from the roots before the lights come on, when food moves back upward into the buds.

Anyways I cleaned and reset the tent. Topdressed the older pots with some buildasoil craft blend, and topdressed the old and the new pots with bokashi, cover crop, and hay. The older pots are much heavier than the newer ones since they still have water and roots, we'll see how that affects growth.

The strains I've picked are:

White Crack
Hubbabubbasmelloscope
Grape Gorilla Glue #4
Industrial Plant CBD

They are in the dvd case sprinkled with Azos and Mykos getting ready to go. Happy growing folks!

Quick update trimmed the Stilton special after 8 days of drying. Has a nice sweet fruit arome mixed with a funky fuel/slightly sour smell. Vaped the scissor hash with my dreamwood glow and it has a nice blueberry bubblegum flavor.

Not sure if you can see but the scissor hash is in the bowl

Not super dense but very aromatic and shiny. I will get the dry weight in a few days once it loses more moisture.

Also after 1 and a half days in the DVD case the seeds were ready and dropped into their pots. Happy growing folks!

End of day one; the industrial plant had the longest tail is slightly ahead of the others. I'm impressed. Side note I just dropped by the dinafem sub, heard what happened to them that really sucks. Hoping for a fast turnaround in courts.

The rest of the ladies a slightly behind, not too exciting to see the babies but we're off to a good start.

Also putting worms in the new pots later today.

Hello everyone it's the end of day 7 and things are going okay. I think put the clover seeds too deep on my older pots since I barely see any on them so I put a few more seeds in those. They will get their first feed tomorrow with some recharge, aloe, coconut, azos, and maybe pure protein.

All the other plants look pretty much the same except this one. She's definitely behind... I was about to drop another but it looks like she's still growing. This can work out for me since I was a little worried about her size because she's known to get big.

Here's a nug from the MBAP as I thought she has much bigger nugs than the Stilton.
