I think this is the first time I've cooked pork, chicken, and beef concurrently for three different dishes. It will also probably be the last. I am exhausted and not close to finished yet.

Whoa, Mike! Feeding a crowd, or the supreme munchies?

Yeah bud she's a royal queen seeds euphoria(photo) supposedly a 1:1 strain :thumbsup:. I've never grown or smoked any cbd strains yet so I'm pretty excited about her:pass:
It's another lovely evening :cheers::pass:

A CBD strain? you will like that I think:thumbsup:

I'm betting the smell in your kitchen at the moment is out of this world!!:drool:

It is. The only think that's missing is the smell of bread in the oven.. That has to wait until morning.

As is, it's already making me hungry. My neighbor in the other part of the house is probably going to hit me up tomorrow in search of samples. Even after accounting for what I am making for my father, there should be plenty left to share.

A bit of both. I am too lazy to cook during the work week, so I like to make some meals ahead of time. Though the inspiration for this marathon was to get some food made for my dad.

I cook a ton of food over the weekends, and put meals into pint jars. Thinking of putting up a series of posts documenting my weird cooking style. Recipes, etc. I know I am not the only one that cooks for just themselves normally, and its my experience that cooking just one meal is problematic if the goal is to get a good, healthy meal that doesn't feel short-changed due to the small scale.

Coupled with my health issues, I am strongly motivated to make this work. Takes a lot of glass jars in rotation, but since I am not "canning" the food for long time storage, you can generally reuse the lid/band that the jars come with several times.

Plus, having really kick-ass beef stew pretty much on-demand is a nice benefit.

That's how I managed a job and school as a young man. Mass production Sundays and freeze portions. After a few weeks you start to get a variety.

I like using the jars because I can just put them in a hot water bath to reheat, and have them ready to eat in an hour. Sounds like a long time, but its not like you have to keep an eye on it. Drop a jar in a pot an hour before dinner time. Making bread every few days is a nice plus too. I like not having to depend on food prepared at the store, or something that came out of a fast food place.

hitting that Royal Highness joint now... waiting for things to cool down a bit to start jarring stuff up. Pics to follow:pass:
RH is one of the strains on my wishlist. Looks like a good functional painkiller.
