What was wrong with the rain??? lol I love the rain, the blacker, windier, and stormier the better. There are lots of places for good views, good food, lots of culture, PDX is definitely a rad place. Come on back I am a good tour guide!

I have friends that live there. They took me everywhere, Mt Hood was great. Don't mind the rain just don't want it every freaking day. LOL

Most of the time it just rains until the suns up, so everything is wet in the morning. I was born and raised here and fish a ton so I acclimated myself to it. I wear shorts unless it snows ha ha

My health now won't allow me to venture out too much now but did love it there. Got to fish Tualatin & the Falls great steelhead. Neighbor was native Indian & had many stories.

The tough part with steelhead is you have to be in good shape to get in and out of the really primo spots, so it's tough for people. But, there are quite a few handicapped fishing spots that are for disabled and wheelchair anglers only, you have to have an endorsement for it but I'm pretty sure that cost is way offset by the savings you get on the license itself. Here is a wicked spot almost anyone could fish at, there is a fireplace in the shack, just plunk spin glos or winged cheaters and smoke a joint while you wait... 44.387245, -123.832122
