Far out the weather is all over the place down there!! Be another couple months until I see daytime temps below 30c unless it's raining!

It's perfect, lots of airflow with fans outside, but helps break it up like louvers with the slits. Cheap!! Everyone has one. You could even fill it halfway with soil if you put some sort of net or mesh around the lower half, inside or out, and then its a planter, plus if its half way full what is it like 20cm deep still? Use old fishing line for homemade scrog netting if you just tie it around the edge and weave and knot them. Or just use hemp twine...

That would cut out the need to repot them that's for sure! I only use it to start my plants, once they out grow their box they are outdoor residents. It's too hot for me to grow indoors here with no air conditioning

How hot does it get indoors there normally?

Most days are pushing 40c in the shade...inside might be a couple of degrees cooler
