@Waira you ever seen that before? Its almost like its bark forming....but very odd. Ive had many plants with bark before, but never tht looked like that.

They tried using rubbing alcohol on it and said it was tough as scale. Looks like barnacles but it’s nowhere near a beach.

eeeewww! that's nasty,... I don;t know what would do that, unless it was weird like that all along? Serious surface scarification,... disease most likely if it looked OK previously, or sprayed with something that fried the surface,...

I'm also very curious about this, I've had something very similar to this on an outdoor plant. Started a couple of inches up from the dirt and progressively spread. I pulled the plant and disposed of it in fear of it spreading to others, I have never seen it since.

Sorry to bother you guys but someone just showed me this and if never seen it before. First thing I asked was how close to the beach they lived cause it looks like dried encrusted salt. Anyone seen this before? I did post in the infirmary but thought I’d see who was hanging tonight.

Got them to post another pic. Definitely killing the plant or a symptom of what is. They know it’s lost but we’re trying to figure out what went wrong. I have a feeling the roots will probably be telling.

I was thinking some kind of fungus but honestly have never seen anything like this before on cannabis or veggies. Apparently they live closer to the beach than originally thought as they live in Hawaii.

... I bet a local nursery there can help, just get a few pics of it,.. need not show it's cannabis, but i doubt they care over there! likely they have seen that shit before,... the plant is a goner though probably....

Good advice. I’ll mention it to them. And yes they know it’s a goner. Several of us told them to burn that thing.
