Man I am all tuckered out. It is more work revamping my exhaust than expected. I must have gone up and down the step stool 50 times. I knew what I wanted to do but the devil is in the details. I needed to make a horizontal air passage to shift the location of the filter can. I want to be able to raise my lights higher for my anticipated summer time sativa run. I calculated the air space to handle the volume but the two right angle turns will cost something in volume. I am using an 8" fan that I only run ~30% most of the time. I reckon I will be fine. I am waiting for some chalking to dry before I put the bottom panel on tomorrow.

After I built my second DIY COBS fixture I could not raise the lights all the way up to the ceiling as the filter can and duct work were in the way.
Here is what it looked like before.
