Gonna have to get a stand-alone freezer if I am gonna keep cooking the way I do. Not sure what to get, really. I am extremely limited when it comes to square footage. As it is now, I have no more space, and it's starting to frustrate any effort to cook and store meals as I am now.

Not sure if this is what you are thinking of, but I have a small stand-up freezer perfect for two people. it's 21"x21"x46" 10cubic feet, you can get small chest freezers too but they take up too much of a footprint for me and you have to dig around. I like the front access of the stand up one.

Agreed. I'll see what's on the Amazons tomorrow. If you don't mind me asking, what model do you have now?

Well, my starter isn't completely dead, but it's gonna be recovering for a few days.

I made the mistake of leaving it on the stovetop while I was roasting a chunk of meat. It got pretty warm.

Pretty sure a large part of the colony died.

It's a Kenmore, I think it is actually this one but I need to check the documentation, had it for years. Others will be similar tho.
