:yoinks: That is horrible, this gorgeous landmark was part of my art history course. I hope it wasn't destroyed, I'm having trouble finding much more info on it.
From what I could see from the coverage is that its pretty badly damaged. The fire had spread really far really quickly. Within the first hour or so, the main spire, along with the roof, had collapsed.

An immeasurable loss.
 
Watching this now, ugh I feel ill about the priceless art and artifacts inside too.
Heartbreaking, isn't it. The structure will be rebuilt, for sure. But the real loss, the history, the culture....... it's almost beyond comprehension.
