if neglect looks soo good, then please, abuse me:smoking::pass:

I just harvested 2 Short Stuff Amnesia CBD plants was was growing for the SS battle. I've tried a couple CBD strains and they all ended up in oil. They were ok to smoke but I didn't find them appealing. We just vaped some of this SS bud and WOOoooooo! I really like it. It will give you a mellow, medium intensity high, with bot a head buzz and a body stone. The head buzz is not edgy, just alert and enjoyable. The body stone and the pain relief are
excellent! Short Stuff has a real winner with this new strain!

Good looking buds too!

Oh man... Sounds like I'm going to love it when I harvest mine in a week or two, then.

Instead of doing that, I make my solution 12 to 24 hours in advance. I no loner adjust PH for at least 6-8 hours after mixing the solution. I find the PH rises the longer it sits in the bucket for at least the first 2-4 hours. I also now use a fish tank heater in the bucket and bring the temp up to what it would be in the res, 70-72F. Then I adjust it as needed and let it sit another 4-16 hours for a total of 24 hrs.. I've found that my ph stabilizes and doesn't need another adjustment in the res. I haven't check PH in the res in over a year without issues by doing it this way. Doing it this way prevents PH fluctuations in the res.

that make perfect sense. I get so mad chasing pH sometimes. Especially when using calmag.

I just tried another way. I warmed the water first to 70F, then mixed the solution. then I tested PH and it was 6.50. I'll check it again in 2 hours, if its +/- .5 I'll use it as is! If not, I'll adjust it down to .650 and wait another couple hours. Might be able to shorten the process a bit. As I have 2 buckets mixed, I'll let one sit a few more hours and check PH. But the key is giving the solution time to reach its PH and that seems to take more than 5 minutes....lol! I think maybe too many of us, myself included, were rushing to use the solution. Raising the temperature also definitely affects ph, shifting it upwards. In fact, it maybe that the majority of the PH swing is temperature related. @62F, this solution usually tests a ph of 6.19!

BTW, I'm using Megacrop 2.0. Similar results though should be seen regardless of nutrient brand

I have a thread in the infirmary for just this issue. I have tried all I could think of, but admit to being in a hurry and lazy about waiting sometimes. The new thing to me you said is heating it up. I was relying on my pH meter to adjust for temp, but I don't think it can be trusted, and I think it needs more time to react.

I get more concerned about adding stuff to a hot rez than a fresh one too.

On the bright side I managed to fix both my tiller and my lawn tractor today. Mower had a rodent eat through the ignition cables and the tiller just needed a good carb clean and air filter. Nice to have at least a few of my tools in working order again. Now to the chainsaw, weedeater, and push mowers. I collect this old shit and hope I can make it run a few years.

In cold weather my Water only temp can vary 1 ph point between morning cold fill and afternoon warmest point of the day..:headbang:..just the plain water PH.... @pop22 ...
