this is probably the wrong place but the infirmary is a year old, what do you do about spider mites late in flower? will the buds be ok after drying etc? thanks in advance
You can spray water or shake the limbs if you got strong branches but basically in flower there isn't a ton of options .Vacuuming an picking em off ol school hippie style as mom says will definitely limit there population but won't be 100%They won't die when you cut the plant so watching your buds when they hang dry is a must cuz the mites continue to suck the resin up .A great option is worry free its sold at most stores an I believe its organic I add some iso alcohol to the mix an its a pretty awesome spray can't be used in flowering though .More expensive options like green cleaner work as well .Just be glad friend these aren't russets or broad mites they are a lot harder to combat .

Get yourself some canna cure, only thing i know of tht kills s.mites and can be used that far into flower! You can actualy use it up until flush!
Sulphur bombs are the best, they destroy everything, mites, eggs larvae, gnats, mould, fungus you name it it kills it, but can only use this up untill halfway through flower.
S.m.C will kill mites and eggs but can only be used up untill week 6 flower!
So if it were my plants id be getting some canna cure, pronto!!
✌✌
cannacure it is, wont there be dead mites on the buds tho? i'll probably smoke them out of spite, thanks for the advice

Yes there will be but luckily they dont burrow so everything will be on the outside and not in the flowers! Once you have the plant chopped and trimmed spray the branches with ph6 water using a pressure sprayer! Hang the branches upside down and spray from top to bottom to flush them off! In 13 years ive had s.mites about 4 or 5 times, usually in summer and ive "washed them" like this every time, just make sure you have good air circulation in your drying area ✌✌

Know what's weird?
That lemon skunk with the three lobed leaves I posted yesterday has all cloudy trichs... And a ton of white pistils. Haven't encountered that before.

Check out Derek Trucks' slide work!!!
