In theory, I'd just need a small tote, an atomizer, and a way to "seal in" the humidity in the tote.
...and a way to figure out how much "fog" is put out per hour. I found an atomizer that's used in corrosion tests (which means it's used to "vaporize" salts and such, So in theory it'd work for nutes) for something like $30.
Next project I guess lol.
Maybe I'll sacrifice my last Mephisto bean for it, for the off chance it works well and can produce a monster plant lol

First I've heard of it...time for someone here to try it:smoking::pass:

I'm trying to think of a cheap and easy way to set it up to see if it actually works. In theory, it's just like an aeroponic set-up, but uses fog instead of spraying water directly on the roots.

fog just goes to the roots?
Yeah. The roots would just hang in the fog. Supposedly it helps keep everything perfectly aerated etc etc.

I'm just looking into cheaper ways of doing the set up, Since everything you see on amazon is like $1500-$3000.
I found an atomizer that's used in corrosion tests that should work to get nutes in the cloud for like $30.
I can pick up another 7 gallon water jug for $15... I'm planning on "floating" the atomizer, So it'll stay at the right level in the water.
So I'd be looking at...$45 in cost to build a prototype.
I'm gonna have to watch pressure in the res. so it doesn't explode, So a cheap tire gauge will work for that part.
If it works well, and efficiently, I'll put the plans up in the Operation Compassionate Care thread,if it still exists.

Oh I see the production units are pretty fancy looking. It would be cool to see a diy setup. The theory sure makes sense
