Hey Jackal, didn't get a chance before to congratulate you on the lovely ladies so..congratulations : Will there be a smoke report? And on a side note, what would you say is the optimum temperature for the res? I recently have been given an air con unit so I can cool my water anywhere down to 16 deg.celsius. Is there a point when it would become too cold for the roots? It's set at 20 deg. right now to play it safe. The same question has been posted in my journal but I thought it would be best to ask the hydro pro

Thanks Pal! Not sure if I will do a smoke report, I've grown this strain a lot and commented about the smoke in previous grows. It's a well balanced high, fruity taste. I seen your post and commented, but I'll answer here just in case anybody else needs the info. I try and maintain a res temp of 65-68 degrees fahrenheit.

Jackal,those are really nice plants, and i'm only just gettin my head round hydro being a dirt type of person,can you tell me, how many 6500s did you use?.

Thanks Randy. During the first 6 weeks I used all 6500k bulbs, then changed them all over to 2900k.

To finish up this grow log, I got the dry weights, the runt came in at 2.7 and the bush at 7.5 @ 65% in jars. I'm not real happy with that, but it is what it is. The grow didn't go as plan and I had some f ups on my end so it's my fault. It was suppose to been 4 autos in RDWC. Out of 8 plants started I ended up with these 2. Also they was started in a tote in 3.75" net pots, and transplanted over to the 6" bucket net pots. I do not advise that, I ran into root problems days after that, I know that would set them back. Also the bloom bulbs needed replaced, but I thought I'd get another grow out of them.

The smoke is great thou, I love Mi5. It's very mellow and stoney. Others who have smoke it, has called it a creeper high. They lit up a joint kept on smoking it, cause they thought it wasn't getting them high. Then BOOM, it hit all at once, and they was stoned! Good stuff indeed.
