It's been almost 2 weeks since they sprouted.

As dummy proof as it gets m8. I've used the older style 2 in 1 type.. light and moisture.. for a decade.. and it still does the job.. no idea about the light measure.. wouldn't say it's accurate.. but soil moisture.. spot on.. doesn't have to be fancy or expensive to do this job in my humble opinion.
Thanks man!! Just ordered and it’ll be here tomorrow. Looking at the pic I’m curious where you’re at 1-10 when you feel it’s time to water? Always nice knowing what is already working for someone else and take guesswork out of it.

If your touching the red it's time to water is how I've always gone m8.. simple as that

When I'm using solid pots, I use the simple two probe moisture meter....with airpots, I use a rapidtest moisture meter with a single probe that fits the airpot holes well.
I water or feed when the meter tells me it's needed. I use a bit of household soap in my mixes to help reduce dry spots etc.
Remember a plant can handle a drought better than they can a flood.

It just arrived and I was amazed how moist my soil still is which of course would’ve lead to overwatering. 5gal fabric pot with 70/30 HF/OF and powdered nutes and worms is apparently going to take much longer to dry than I thought lol. Glad y’all are here posting stuff for rooks like me to surf and learn!
