Lighting Is this L.E.D any good

Right on bro the MARS will be a great light to use you will fill that tent with frosty big buds. I have found using different spectrums makes for huge plants. You should start a journal my man.
 
well I chucked the Mars hydro in so fingers crossed, will post some pics in the photoperiod section, 5 weeks to go, then its back to Mephisto goodness
I will defo start a grow diary on the mephisto beans...Double grape and HBSS, cant wait!! One last question is it ok to plug a timer in the wall then a extension lead in to it, then in the extension lead plug both lights? I think the max load for the extension lead is 3200w not worried about that its the timer that's my concern, it's a cheap digital one from Argos.

When you can try to avoid using extension cords.
 
thanks @Son of Hobbes for a quick reply, I don't have any choice but to use extension cords, the light leads just are not long enough. just worried im going to burn me house down.

How much power draw are you using? If it's a small load it's less of a concern, but to give you an example I used an expensive, rated extension cord on a 1000W HPS once up on a time and came home to a plug nearly melted into the outlet.
 
ive got two leds running off of it, one is 130watt draw and the other is a mars hydro reflector 48(don't know how much that draws,cant be much). the actual extension cord has switches for each socket. The timer is rated at 3200watts I presume that means total load. thanks again for your help. Sorry for being a bit thick , im crap with electrics!!
 
I've used an extension cord with my two leds for 3 years. The plugs don't even get warm, the draw is the equivalent of 3 100 watt lightbulbs. Hope that helps.
 
Thanks everyone for your help, tents now loaded with two leds . When ive remembered how to upload snaps I will post some ,im currently doing THSeeds M.O.B and Serious seeds Bubblegum, both now flowering away under a few more watts. Thanks everyone who contributed, problems sorted, case closed:d5:
