is this bud rot?

To avoid bud rot immediately after harvest, the plants (cut at their base) are hung in an upper corner of my tent. This is a relatively harsh (dry and warm) environment, so the buds' surface moisture, where spores would land and grow first, is rapidly eliminated. After 24-48 hours the plant then goes into a cardboard box (free from the US Postal Service) with some holes punched in it (presumed comparable to the paper bag method) for a week-10 days.
