Hello AFN!

Okay, so I've got a 4'x2'x60" tent by AH.
I am NOT growing autoflowers, probably shouldn't be on here in that case but you guys are a lot of help and I'm sure you won't be bothered by it.

I have a 600 watt magnetic ballast and a cool hood, everything Is looking great I really like the setup. But Jesus Christ if it could have just been half a foot taller I wouldn't be so worried. I have not started growing yet and I am using 7 gallon smart pots which are pretty short pots (10 inches tall, filled with soil to 9 inches) and I planned on growing Tahoe OG (Cali connection) and super silver haze (green house seeds) I do realize that I MAY want to rethink the ssh as that's a tall growing plant.

I had my light attached with ratchet ropes but it hung an extra like 6 inches lower from the roof than necessary so I rigged it to be raised all the way to the top to where it practically touches the roof.

With scrogging, topping, and lollipopping. Would it be possible to do this and still have a nice yield? The closest I would let the plants get to the GLASS (realize the bulb Is another inch or two above the glass) would be about 8 inches. could it get any closer or no?

Thanks for the support guys I'm super excited!

ALSO I grabbed some pot of gold, ocean forrest and happy frog, also some clay pellets and perlite. I plan on just mixing all the soil together into one big batch.

My tent is two feet taller than yours and I'm having the same worries. I'm willing to bet it's something all us noobs go through when we start realizing how much room lights, ventilation and such take up.

If your tent is two feet taller than mine you have nothing to worry about man. I'm also assuming you're growing photos, if not then you DEFINETLY don't.

Big plants can be trained to fit small spaces. 4x3x4. 2 photos in scrog. You've got what you've got to work with. Success will depend more on being consistent with temps, humidity, light cycle and feed schedule, imho. I'd love to see that Super Silver Haze though. I've got their Chemdog and Trainwreck, probably get one of these going in the next round. Good Luck!

Check out the CO2Boost Bucket under the fans. Small spaces have some advantages.

Yeah My space is a lot smaller and still able to grow with no problem! They can't get bigger then your cabin anyway.

So do you think I could do a simple scrog setup? Should I just top the HELL of it and then scrog?

You are not growing an autoflower so I doubt it matters you can keep vegging forever.
Veg until you like the size and shape of the plan then start flowering.
So.. do anything you like that works for you, only time can tell.

Well, I planned on scrogging photos when I bought the tent in February, but I fell in with a bad crowd in March and now I'm leaning very much towards autos.
