I'm having an issue with one of my plants.
Some leaves are curling and there are a couple yellow spots on leaves.
I wasn't sure if the yellow spots were from having water droplets on leaves and having the light burn them.
The Curling on the leaves are only on a few leave, but one leaf the curling seems to be turning colors.
Could that be from using water with a pH higher than the previous waterings pH?

Well I do have a 12" Oscillating fan running on them all the time and the humidity is about 55-60%

sound like mg mine got this my humidity fine, how old you girl is she flowing if so i say cel/mg empson well sort her out :peace: Kudo

She is about 19 days from sprouting and the fan is on low, but it's pretty close to them; maybe about 12" or so away.
They are not flowering either.
Do you mean epsom salt or is there something called empson? If so where do you find something like that?

Also I'll be giving them their dose of the Lucas formula on the next watering (which will be later tonight or tomorrow) would that help, or not give them what they need?

Cool thanks. I moved the fan so it's not blowing directly on the leaves. I hope that helps.
Humidity is up in the high 60's. Going to water tomorrow with Lucas formula. Hope that helps alittle.

How long after moving fan from blowing on them should I wait till I know it's not the fan causing the leaves to curl, and I should start looking at other things that could cause the problem?
I watered earlier today (Fri.) also with 1/4 strength lucas formula.
Also was it Epsom salt someone was talking about or something called Empson? I searched for Empson and found nothing.

Any help/advice please

Well I think it might be getting worse, but the plant is growing like a weed still.
There seem to be more yellow spots on a few more leaves now, but I'm not sure if it's from water droplets magnifying the light and burning the leaves since I just watered them yesterday.
Even with it's problems it's growing fast and getting very bushy.
Here are some updated pictures.

Also my other plant has some white speckles on a few leaves. I said I thought it looked like trichs or something on the leaves and my wife was wondering if it was mildew.
They show really good when using the flash, otherwise not so much.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm starting to get worried I'm going to lose my first 2 plants I've ever grown.

**EDIT** Anyone? I could really use some help. I'd like to correct this problem before it gets worse and takes longer to fix.

***EDIT*** Should I just go somewhere else for help? Nobody has even mentioned if empson was supposed to be Epsom salt or if it was something else.

Hi,

they do mean Epsom Salts or (magnesium sulphate) as it is otherwise known. You need to add about a 1/4 teaspoon per litre of water and make sure it is added to and dissolved in hot water then left to cool down. Use it sparingly and even half dose then half again as too much may cause lockout issues. I don't know where you are but if in the UK, you can get it from Boots the chemists and it is sold as bath salts. If not, Ebay will be your best bet.

Hope this helps and good luck to your little babies :peace:

Cool thank you much, I'll go see if I can find some at a store today.
I wasn't/still am not, sure if they yellow and curling leaves was from the water with nutrients in it getting poured on the leaves, but then again it's only happening to one of my plants (which also boggles me).

I'm a newb but I'll try my best to assist. PH fluctuations won't help. Growing in soil is more forgiving than coco in my experience when PH is an issue. What medium are you using and what type of water? I know it sounds potty but I water mine with a 20ML syringe and give it them gradually and get an even spread until I see some run-off. I also avoid any droplets of water then getting on my leaves. It can take me ages but I can do this with only having 4 plants! If I do have an accident, I usually wipe the leave gently with my CLEAN fingers and then raise the lights slightly for an hour or so. This is only in emergencies and I try my best not to touch them unless I have to.

Good luck anyway bro and I hope it sorts itself out for you. :peace:

Oh yeah Epsom Salts can also be used to relieve constipation if taken orally so if you get bunged-up on a space cake or browny you know what to do? ha-ha

All the best my friend
