Hello people, I am Mr Owl. Very nice to speak to some of you already, I was a little blown away by the friendly response I got in my first thread. As per roys advice I thought I'd better come say hello properly.
I'm a noob really, though I am very interested in science and biology, especially micro biology and botany. So I'm not a total fool noob, yet still a noob. I also have been growing my own vegetables for sometime. I kinda thought I could treat it as I do my tomatoes, but yeah its not exactly the same, and growing indoors under artificial lights is a whole new bag really. I've only ever grown autos, and always on my windowsill, it was not very successful to say the least
In future I'm trying to be as self sufficient as possible, both in my veg and my smokes (I even have some perpetual spinach in the tent, its not actually spinach but tastes much the same, but is nice as its not exactly light hungry, so is happy enough in good soil in the corner).
I look forward to more helpful tips and support and will be keeping an eye out on the forums. I'll share some pics of my first harvest when its ready, though its slightly lame in my opinion. But onwards and upwards as they say! I think I might also, though to me it sounds kinda patronising as others on here have so much more experience, but I'll try and share my first mistakes / early experience because it may help others, I hope.
Peace
Monsieur Owl
