Hey everyone I just popped a DP Autonight Queen and have a 2fast in the ressy already,so I thought since both being pretty (very) cool strains this might be an interesting one to watch ;) using :

600hps dual spec 18/6
Maxibrite digilight pro switch-able 400-600 SL
30lpm hailia silent pump and a 20lpm.
Advanced nutes hobbyist kit (voodoo, big bud,overdrive,b52.) With Sensi base and Shogun Cal-mag.
Soft water 50ppms (switching to full r/o shortly for use of AN Ph perfect.)
20ltr res buckets (Makeshift Mylar lined)

evaporation cooling on the lids (pc fans/upgrading to aquarium fleabay fans)
1 clip on and 1 tower fan (adding 9" floor fan and hurricane canopy fan)

Budbox pro 120
4"-and 5" black orchid extractors with a secondary 4" light extractor.

The 2 fast in the res is on 5mls of both voodoo and b52 with 15mls of Cal-mag,and so will the night queen when she go's into hers in a week or so,at around 2 1/2 weeks they will be given some very light nutes in there baby bottles.

Unlike my other nub grows I will be Lst'ing these little lady's (looks like 2fast is at it already ;P) and all future grows hopefully creating a flat canopy now that I've gotten the hang of Dwc a little. thanks all and enjoy the grow :)

Is there a reason your calmag is so high at 15ml is that per gallon or the entire rez

Heya :D ....no that's for the entire ressy, see I use 20ltr or 5gal buckets but of course the whole bucket Isn't filled to the brim with nute solution there's actually around 15lts in mine at the base of the net pots, gotta measure what's in there ,not the bucket size itself :)
directions Shogun Cal-mag=1 ml a ltr through the entire grow
A typical run for me would be something like this but I would adjust to suit the phenotype itself and her needs by reading her.. to my best ability anyway.

seedlings 200-300ppm (no base nutes until 2.5- 3 weeks old) All based on 15ltr ressy
15mls calmag
10mls voodoo
10mls b52
at 3weeks adding 5mls of sensi grow a/b to the mix bringing it up to about 400 ppms then I just increase everything in even increments and change to bloom when necessary. which will happen at about 500ppms.

This is just my way of doing it ,Cheers bro :D

Nice setup and strains! I think your water is probably perfect already though. I wish my tap water was 50 ppm (330), I'd never have bought an ro unit haha. PH perfect should work great with your water. I believe it's good for up to 250 ppm. I know I saw the info on their site somewhere. I'm sure you will grow trees either way! Can't wait to see. :pass:

Subbed up for this one, I think you are gonna knock it out of the park my dude. I have heard nothing but good things about the AutoNightQueen, suuuuuuper frosty strain from what I have been told and pictures I have seen of them. Keep up the good work, sending super grow karma your way.

Oh and Also make sure you fill the netpot all the way up with the Hydroton because you don't want any light getting down in those roots, that also may have contributed to your recent semi root issue. But you said that has started to get better, so that is a good thing. Anyway they look like they have a long and healthy life ahead of them, oh and I LST them really early like you as well and I have always seen really good results.

I think it really will be cool watching Autonight queen in a Dwc shes one strong smoke and i think she'll be a real looker as well. And the 2 fast 2 vast ,not to be confused with fast and vast, is an interesting one because there's not a lot out there on her except for a few and also a lot of mixed emotions about her my intention was to help set the records straight with her and show what they can do when at least mostly done right (still learning)
and I'm betting Il be able to show a pretty strong lady out of her with some huge buds I think. :)
And no I've had a lot of issues with Ph perfect and super soft water and i wouldn't recommend it ,i guess it just depends on what it is that say 50ppm consists of ,its funny every once in awhile it will actually work for no reason i know of then it wont again. An do tell people to use r/o because of unexpected results and i can vouch for that. im really looking forward to r/o because i think AN is a power house in Dwc ,looking forward to using it right.
Cheers :)

Will do :D also the clay pebbles I'm using for this grow are terrible I got from ebay a lot of it is un-usable and took a lot of work to wash but I've got it now I might as well use what i can of it (crap).

Oh and just real quick how many buckets do you have total for your 50LPM air pumps and stones? Is it 3 your AU,ABBK and now this one? Or is all of that air just being used on one bucket?

Yes its for all its for all 3 ;) , ideally id like to run a piston pump for more air on a budget but due to the location of my tent I'm kinda restricted since i sleep right beside them haha:), however I'm kind of in between at the moment because now I've seen how big they get in my tent I'm starting to think 2 is actually more than enough to fill the tent enough if they where lst'd into the flat canopy so i may use the third res as a seedling starter for the main two, still unsure yet though..but if i do start the third res (cant yet till Au moves out,Bbk is up for harvest shortly beginning flush next week to make sure she's nice and heavy smoke around 12 weeks), I will have a choice from the remaining seeds I have , more 2 fast or barneys farm blue cheese auto.

I know you are on a budget and I too understand sleeping next to a loud ass air pump, but you already know what I am going to say. Get more AIR!!! There is a pump you can get that will get you up to capacity for about 40 bucks US. You have seen my rants about having enough air in your DWC system so I will spare you my normal rant lol and just say that if there is ANY way possible to get more air I would do it. Also you can build a soundproof(ish) box for your air pumps and that will help with the sound, especially with how big your AU is I would do it as soon as humanly possible. You don't need a big ole piston pump for 3 buckets. Here is a link for one that is 42 us and 50LPM so that would bring you up to about 30LPM per bucket which is in the acceptable range in my opinion. Oh and I would totally do the Barneys Blue Cheese I have heard nothing but great things about that strain, probably one of Barneys best. Sending super good Grow Karma your way

yup right on that's what i meant about sorting this tent out properly, yes more air is on the cards after reading your threads ,but i had a better idea for it its bloody annoying really because i think ive gone up every size pump they have since starting!!grr but I was thinking hailia 50lpm silent pump. Ive also started to slowwly defoliate fan leaves the AU a little around her base, small leaves big fans and hopeless bud sites and anything in the middle section thats to crowded and touching I think in her particular situation this is a good option for her as shes got bud sites everywhere and a lot of foliage(fat ass) but I'm being very careful to not over do anything
Yeah ive actually got some timber im planning to use as baffle box's with some fibreglass insulation for my extractors as well so its good to hear from you that I'm on the right track.
And yup blue cheese is what I was thinking 2 ;)

ps you just reminded me i have all my really small pumps stored away i will pull them out for the AU as life support until i can get my hands on the big one.

There you go if you have old pumps go get em lol and give that AU all the air she can handle. I promise you won't regret it. And yeah man you are totally on the right track, at this point we aren't tryin to fix any issues or problems or anything I am just thinking what you could do to improve the end result for cheap, and if you have some old pumps it is harder to get cheaper than free. Again great job and I can't wait to see what the yield is of the AU, I think as I have stated already she is going to be a special plant in the yield department.
