New Grower Increased humidity, less need to pull water from roots, therefore less feed uptake?

I recently got my RH up to about 50-55% from below 30% on average. Also reduced temperature a bit in order to get my RH and temp in the green zone of the VPD chart. My newer vegging plants are looking very nice and lush now.

But I've noticed the ones I'm hand watering are taking longer to dry out.

And the ones on the autopot res are not taking as much out of the tank.

Which makes sense because the leaves will not evaporate as much as before with the higher RH, therefore they will not pull as much water from the roots.

But can this be a bad thing in that your plants are not uptaking as much nutrients as before?

Nothing wrong with them taking less, because you have your environment dialed in. The big risks that come with feeding and humidity and temperature variations are a grower will be feeding a certain strength nutrients and then one day it'll be excessively hot and the plant drinks far more liquid and they get burned by the extra nutrients. For that reason it's always a good idea to reduce the strength your nutrients during really hot dry periods of time, than you can use during the more normal growing humidity ranges.

Gotchya. I didn't think of that. I was thinking maybe I should increase nute strength now since they are drinking less. Its winter for bit longer here so not worried about heat yet. But will eventually.

Would it be a good idea to increase strength a bit or just leave it (less is more etc)? I'm using a Tang schedule right now so it's dialed in for autos.

I wouldn't increase nutrient strength unless your leaves start to go a little bit pale green. Autoflowers really don't like as much nitrogen as photoperiod strains.
