I screwed up when adding plants to the tent on Friday - I had taken one of the fans to use elsewhere and the access panel for the intake hose stayed open for almost two days. So I had some light pollution but it's early enough that it probably doesn't matter.
Edit, 6/19/23: The Afgaan 90 x Kumaoni hermed badly as a result of the light pollution, but aside from getting knocked up, the other plants in the tent weren't affected.
Anyhoo, my Sinai landrace seed run plants are one month old yesterday. Since this is a seed run I'm not worried about the plants getting tall. I just want seeds.
So I moved them into the 12/12 tent (this 4x4) so I can make seeds quickly. I was going to give them longer so I could take some clones but decided to reveg the females if they're any good and make sure to keep a branch unpollinated for testing.
You can probably ascertain that they're the ones in the middle.
Also the Purple Canyon top leaves were looking a little light-stressed so I raised the lights as high as they'd go.
I have a strategy for anything that gets too close to the light. Although my plans aren't brilliant, or rocket science or in any way clever, I searched the entire internet (all the way to Google's "no more items to display" message) and it's at least unique on the internet.
So if they get as tall as I hope, I'll have something new to show you that you might consider stupid or clever, depending how it works. Stay tuned and see what happens!
