Indoor In the Rasters of My 4 by 4

I'm always down for quick and easy on the pocket solutions aka MacGyver skills and I was able to build the grow room without buying anything but the tarps and tape LoL but I wish it would get a little warmer so I can get some outside as well. It's also pretty windy up here today too!? But I can tell that they're going to benefit from mother nature's light.... secret magic sorcerer 😄

Yeah I love this time of year because I can at least take them out during the day. In late June when I can start leaving them out overnight simplifies the daily routine. :baked: I always get better growth.

What size pots are they in?
The new autos are in one gallons as all my tents are about maxed as I’m trying to let the stuff in flower go all the way🤬🤬 to maturity. My eyes got bigger than my tent and the five Marleys Grin in 7gal fabrics proved to be too much for the 4x4 and I was having issues with airflow.

Here they are today thinned out and one less plant. I put the other in the 12/12 4x4 and she finished up right quick!!
This one here is the 2x4 I mainly use for veg and propagation

The bottom right is that Strawberry Cough that’s finally big enough to clone. Maybe Dutch Passion will impress after all. These are all one gallon.

I ran my first outdough last year and I have a bit of adjusting to do after losing much of a great plant due to bud rot from the one that was in the actual ground. The ones I had in big ass planters and was able to move into the garage overnight did amazing. However I much prefer the ease of a controlled environment

I've had more bad luck than good growing outside because we get frosts until 15 June and nights are cool all summer. But I think I'll do much better this year. Agreed it's much easier inside.

I'm really interested in the Strawberry Cough. I have the Kushman clone and am curious whether the seeds stack up.

I have two more that are barely large enough to flip now. So I moved some lights around and converted this tent to my flowering tent. All of the other plants have been moved to an outdoors shed.

The four tallest (with colas just getting started) were flipped on April 30th.

Now I have two Optic IIIs in there.

It's not in the 4x4 (well, it is right now but goes back outside in the morning), but here's an update on the Mango Smile. She's not "gettin' with it."

I have stunted Mephisto strains before but I did everything right with this one. It's actually fortunate. I had three seeds left and was going to reverse one onto the other two. I might have used this one as the pollen donor.

I have sex on three regulars, and they're female! The Kumaoni x Afgaan 90:

The one I'm calling Gelato Meat (Force Of Nature Gelato 41 x Dino Meat):

... And the one I'm calling 41 Bucks (Gelato 41 x G$G):

So far that's 3 of 3, which is more than I expected.

I screwed up when adding plants to the tent on Friday - I had taken one of the fans to use elsewhere and the access panel for the intake hose stayed open for almost two days. So I had some light pollution but it's early enough that it probably doesn't matter.

Edit, 6/19/23: The Afgaan 90 x Kumaoni hermed badly as a result of the light pollution, but aside from getting knocked up, the other plants in the tent weren't affected.

Anyhoo, my Sinai landrace seed run plants are one month old yesterday. Since this is a seed run I'm not worried about the plants getting tall. I just want seeds.

So I moved them into the 12/12 tent (this 4x4) so I can make seeds quickly. I was going to give them longer so I could take some clones but decided to reveg the females if they're any good and make sure to keep a branch unpollinated for testing.

You can probably ascertain that they're the ones in the middle.

Also the Purple Canyon top leaves were looking a little light-stressed so I raised the lights as high as they'd go.

I have a strategy for anything that gets too close to the light. Although my plans aren't brilliant, or rocket science or in any way clever, I searched the entire internet (all the way to Google's "no more items to display" message) and it's at least unique on the internet.

So if they get as tall as I hope, I'll have something new to show you that you might consider stupid or clever, depending how it works. Stay tuned and see what happens! :toke: :toke:
