So I've been wanting to write an outdoor grow guide for over 20 years and I think the time to start is approaching.. One of the reasons to do so has always been selfish, in that the research needed would also benefit myself.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I think that we as a community can write/compile it relatively easy, and thus set out on the real work of breeding for latitude that I've always imagined would be the conclusion of the research and necessary moving forward.

Has anyone started this work yet or point me towards folks who would have input and or encouragement? I don't think it's a book, since it's not 1986, but the pursuit of compiling evidence based information would be highly valuable..

The crux of my idea is that outdoor is where you farm but can't expect results without growing genetics that a) you/your market want to jar or concentrate, and b) have the trigger time for your locale/latitude..
I'm not blaming breeders because this is a relatively new industry and they have been in trenches for over 50yrs.. But I think it's time we start paying attention to latitude specific intelligence because flowering time and when it finished in your field is no longer enough information..
And Lords and Ladies aren't simply gonna replace our wool and flax with plastic this time..
