New Grower ILGM❤️ Extreme Autos Pack

I'm growing those Bloody Skunk at the moment, they grow fast.

Mostly Citrus in smell but also a bit like a pot of stale tea that has been sitting in the pot overnight just stronger.
I think I know the smell you’re talking about. That’s the thing I’m not getting. I’ve grown a lot of different strains l. But I always end up with similar smelling/tasting weed. It’s good. Don’t get me wrong. But I’ve yet to grow one that’s skunky. Always fruity/citrus. I’m going to try some things different this run. I usually use a mix of teas and advanced nutrients micro,grow, bloom. This run I’m going to try the full line of Humbolts Secret nutes.

When I started growing a little over a year ago. I started with a ts1000 and a cheap blurple. I grew 4 Barney’s farm autos that turned out great. The biggest plant pulled 9 dry ozs. That harvest paid for everything I have now. I’ve only used the growcraft to flower a few plants. It does a great job. Big dense buds with minimal power. That being said the Mars hydros have grown some of the nicest plants I’ve ever grown. I’m not willing to say ones better than the other. But I will say they both produce beautiful buds.

@Marshydro

End of week 9
Everything’s going pretty smoothly. Noticed some tip burn. So I used r/o water with just enough cal/mag to bring the ppms up to 75. Going to water again tomorrow and check ppms in run off. I have 5 that look like they’ll finish at week 10.then I’ll move the plants from the Mars hydro side to the chilled side. Then I’ll be starting 15 babies under the Mars hydros. Rinse and repeat.

Looks tasty all over!

Nice work, buds look sweet. I see a bunch of people running the TS1000's with great success. I'm going to have to shop around.

In soil, I thought the optimum pH was 6.5. That was the sweet spot to have all available nutrients absorbed by the roots. I know I was at 6.2 and my plant suffered but it was pretty obviously that a lockout was setting in. I have been trying to maintain at 6.5 now and it's made a world of a difference.

My understanding is optimal ph for soil is between 6.0 and 7.0... with each nutrient being most availabe at different ph levels. In my experience once I’ve started using bottled nutrients my ph will slowly drop even if I ph’d the feed to 6.5 Everytime. So for the first 3-4 weeks I use spring water that naturally has a ph of 6.8 and a 100ppm. Ovef those 3-4 weeks,my soil ph will raise from 6.3 to 6.8. I feed at 6.5 from that point until a week before chop and my soil is usually just above 6 before the end. I never have to flush my soil or really have many issues. This grow has had some issues. Just not ph. It’s a new house. So 99% of my issues this time were from dialing in the room. These plants have had a couple near death experiences. A few heat spikes dried them out bad. And I lost a lot of leaves due to that. Bad air circulation didn’t help either. Ran out of my usual nutes at a bad time. And had to switch to a completely new line mid flower. A lot of obstacles this round.I’m still not completely dialed in. But the next round should suffer a lot less. And this round still going to turn a profit.

Oh ya, that is a lot for the girls to overcome in a short amount of time. I'm dialing in my tent now and the before and after are huge improvements. I'm really looking forward to my next grow.
