I would guess all the large seedbanks and seed producers lawyer up and are told what risk is involved. I know one of the larger heirloom vegetable seedbanks in the northwest started producing and selling cannabis seeds. They were having problems dealing with consumers so went wholesale. I just can't remember who it was. My problem with Fastbuds is not the plants which I think are great, it is the fact we basically pay double in the USA.
Like so many have mentioned, FastBuds is Spanish. American is just the tagline/genetics. Their success speaks for itself imo. Both their genetics and marketing imo. Hard to find another auto breeder with the distribution network and sales
Its not that they don’t wanna ship USA. It’s just a legal thing. I’m sure it’s the same reason many other Spanish Seedbank don’t ship US. Especially the large ones like SeedStockers or DP. Lotsa gray areas in the Spanish scene about what’s legal and what’s not? Those that manage to ship US may have found some loopholes. I’m guessing the larger the company gets, the harder to work around it as your accounts will be scrutinised more closely by the government.
Im sure they’re just doing what’s best for their company. We’ve all been shocked by the Dinafem/HSO episode. It shows that the government/politics ain’t messing around, even if you may have been paying millions in taxes for decades.
