If I wanted the softest soil for some older germinated autos to get their feet into, either in a pocket in their final pot or in a beer cup, what should I use? I have jiffy seed start mix, white play sand, promix, sifting screens, GrowIt brand loose coco..can get to stores.. I used a pocket of the jiffy mix in a first outdoor planting's final pots of compost mix and they made it out but I feel like the jiffy could've been looser..is this a useful product? Next planting is going into beer cups..sale seeds..relatively dry looking..
Thanks and Love from the maritimes

I’ve started seeds in plain pro mix forever and had no issues…:d5: :pass:

Same here. However, I recently switched to a solo cups worth of seedlings mix in the center of my pot of Promix and have noticed faster growth during the first 10 to 12 days. Could just be in my head, but I'm going to stick with it for now.
