Tell me about it! Advanced Nutes has a master grower line with too many products to count, sometimes recommend eight different things in addition to the base nutes at the same time!! I can't imagine that. I wonder if anyone here has done the master grow line and what they think about it.

Lol! Yeah, I do not have that option in my garage... thankfully!

I have tried the master grow line of products, but you have to be very careful with their feeding schedule. It is really based on plants that are heavy eaters. In the end, I returned to Advanced Hydroponics of Holland and growing in coco/clay pebble mix. It is the easiest way to grow and make corrections if needed. Once you try the Autopots, and the bottom feed system, you won't want to try anything else. So much less work. If there are no complications, then you can fill the res and leave it for a week, then all you need to do is take out the bottom tray and clean it every week or so and then just watch them grow.

Lots of toking in the Man Cave, not so much work...:pass:

As far as the additives go and all their ingredients, they of course aren't all necessary, but when you truly understand how to read the signs the plants are giving and when to add what at the right time, the master line can be very effective in growing huge plants. The real issue is, most growers will never reach that level of expertise and not really get the benefits of such a complete line of products.

Advanced Hydroponics line has everything you need and a much easier schedule which can be easily adjusted if needed. Just remember though,...it's all the same sh*t man! N-P-K with a few extras.

Good point, Med. I am such a newbie that I need to try as much as possible to keep it simple. However, I have been convinced that Hydroguard is an important additive, and I am sure, as I go along, I will add and supplement based on experience, etc. right now, I can't even imagine knowing the individual roles and benefits of all the available products, even just in the AN line. Gonna stick with it at least through a few grows. Why, because I have it already, mostly.

I have heard a lot about the autopots, and will have to look into that for the future. I am all about making things easier, but have to weigh that against cost. I have already spent more than I planned in getting starting this hobby. Having a good time learning, though. Sometimes, I still can't believe that I am growing my own bud. That makes everything worth it!

The line is great man, no negatives at all meant there. Get your butt on YouTube and learn, that's all i did. Growing your own smoke is so freeing bro. I love going out to the med cabinet and getting to choose which strain I will smoke or vape, and having both daytime and night time smokes is also nice. Like most, I never really had control or knew what I was getting. Now that all changes. Now I have to force myself to take a day off from medicating from time to time just to keep the head clear enough to be fully functional.

You will see, the Autopots are cheap, and will save you money in the long run. DWC is great, but tons of work compared to the Autopots. I still have two dwc systems now sitting there on a shelf with my old hps light as well which lasted a whole two grows before I realized that the how was too hot and using too much power, and the dwc was too much labor and worry.
You will find your way. Once you get the buds flowing, you will see that the costs will offset in a short time. Within one year, even if you do invest a little more coin, you will get that back. Consider that in my last grow of four ladies i harvested around 600 grams of top of the line smoke and another 100 of ok stuff I made 10 grams of hash from. 600 grams of top bud and 10 grams of super hash. The value on that is enough to offset the costs alone, let alone you can have three to four grows at least yearly. Big savings and, of course, some friends who "just love stoping by your place" from time to time.

It's all worth it!

Ur right brutha what u learn throughout each grow u will implement in the next grow what u learned that grow will go into the next and so on until u don’t measure ur feed or ph ul be that confident in ur grow that ul be at the top of ur game [emoji2]... When I first started I grew what other people grew and quickly stopped doing that and grow only what I enjoy smoking [emoji636][emoji2][emoji2][emoji2]

Exactly Budzey! Each of us will find our own way, but don't ignore those that have come before and study a little. You can avoid problems and understand what to do quickly when they do arise.

Like you said Budz, I don't even measure my nutes and ph or etc except in the beginning of the grows just to assess where these ladies are at. I always have checked with growers who have grown a strain I want to grow and see what there may be to look out for. Shortens the learning curve! I probably inky "need to spend" less than 10 minutes daily, and that is if I am checking for defol, or other extras, if not, two minutes to mix, feed, and go! Don't tell my wife though, I spend a lot of time in there just looking at them, and smoking some of there relatives!
