ok im interested in growing hydro i dont know
where to start or what to get so can yall help me
i keep hearing badthings about grow boxes like the super locker
and the mothership(u have to upgrade so many things) so should
i buy my set up piece by piece???

so can get a t5 light or a digital light, a box fan and a Drip Hydroponic System(example)

i would go ebb and hps rather than t5 you will also want a carbon filter and ph and ec meters are the first few things that spring to mind

Is this your first grow? If so, I would recommend that you do a couple grows in soil before attempting hydro. Soil is more forgiving and if you make a mistake you will have more time to correct it. In hydro, things can go wrong fast.

Many people here are growing in tents with good results. While kits are available that have all you need, most buy the tent and separate components such as the lights, exhaust fan, circulation fans, etc. What type of light to use depends on your environment. HPS create a lot of heat. The new T5s like the Quantum Bad Boys do a very good job. LEDs are also very good. A little more money up front but cheaper to run over the long haul.

I am sorry to say but with that logic you will be disappointed. The auto strains out there are amazing, but if you want some nice killer bud it takes alot of trail and error. Anyone can throw a seed in soil, but it takes someone willing to put in the time and care to make it to the finish line.

you need to slow down and grow in soil bro or your gonna be surely disappointed. autos are finicky to begin with so i wouldnt just dive into hydro all at once since proper ph standards are tricky in dwc for a first timer. if you must do hydro consider flood tables like in my signature below.
