New Grower I need confirmation

Okay I just got one Afghan Kush Ryder seed from world of seeds, I looked on the site and it looks promising, it says Indoor and outdoor but specifically for indoor.

But I'm trying to grow it out door from the seed. Could it work? I live in Florida (near orlando) & the sun gets pretty hot here (+ it's summer time) so I'm not worried about that. I looked up how many hours of light my area gets and it was about 14 hours. Is that enough to successfully grow my feminized autoflowering plant outdoor from seed? Quality & yeild is a big factor here. Thanks

Welcome to the site! I recommend starting them indoors under a few cfls or something until it sexes and grows a few nodes before putting outside. Not to say it wouldn't work starting outside though. Browse around our outdoor section and soak up all that you can.

i have a AKR going right now.... indoors
i would wait another month before planting it ourdoors. I was thinking about running one outdoors but not until later. I live in a pretty hot state also (az) and mine probably wouldnt like the 114+ degree days we get. LOL
but like squid said. maybe in a another week or so get it going indoors and then set it outside later on

I have one right now outdoors.I started it indoors and vegged it under 20/4 light cycle.It showed sex at about 21 days.I got her big and bushy and them placed her outside in a place that gets ful sun all day.I also will add that she had small buds on when she went outside.I have not checked her in a few days.I will do so and take a photo.Maybe that will help you out.Atleast show you how it could look finished outdoors.She has been out for a week now and is at 6 week from seed .So 5 weeks indoors is what i did.

yeah... its best to get them to sex at least before placing out... espcially the ak runners

run 24 hr light for starts like that... usually at least 3-4 weeks... a little longer is better.. get em rockin before they go out...
