I can put the cotyledon on the leaf sticking to the shell but what is up with the serrated leaves forming like this? I am thinking I likely have burned it with the led slightly but the next set look funky as well

watering ph 6.4 runoff is 5.9-6.2
substrate is earthworm compost

These are taken 12 hours apart from each other

I've just had a pair of beans do this, I put it down to hot soil.
This is how they look after 3 weeks, the bottom one may be retrievable but the top one I'm letting run for shits and giggles.

Yeah, I was thinking hot soil as soon as I read substrate is earthworm compost and it seems nothing else........might grow into it or burn up, won't know till it happens.

It’s doing it’s little wiggle still and slowed down growth after watering with tap water (wrong container) Our tap ph is really high like 8
Before the tap water the leaves were reaching for the sky

I flushed with ph'ed water have been keeping a eye on it, Roots started coming out of the holes a few days ago so I put it in its final home. Nothing special with the mix just promix black earth and manure with perlite. I killed my other 5 seeds trying something different with germ methods but I believe I did something wrong.

Thank you for the assistance!

seems to be doing okay, I am glad to as this is the last of the strain I have. We began to aerate the water after ph adjustments after some top reading on here.
