Hey fellas,
I have a Mars Hydro 4x2 tent, Mars Hydro SP 250 LED, 4" Inline Duct Fan w/ Mounting Bracket, Air Carbon Filter w/ Changeable Velcro Pre-filter & Filter Belts, Air Ducting w/ 2 Clamps, Thermometer & Hygrometer Gauge, 1/8" Rope Hangers.
Seeds are on the way.. Blue Dream, White Widow, Northern Lights, etc.
I need some buckets, soil, nutrients, etc., and a mess of other stuff, I'm sure.
Any tips? Thanks, guys..

Thanks Tom for replying with the link. I'd like to fit 3 plants in there, but assumably only 2. Can you help me as to specifics? I really don't have a clue as to what would be best, let alone what to get at all.
I'm clueless, muchacho.. lol

Sounds like you've pretty much got all the kit you need buddy just a matter of getting your seeds gettin them germinated and stickin em in your 4x2 tent. 1 tip.. only do 3 plants if your gonna use big pots/actual buckets.. give them a bit of space to flourish  :jointman: good luck.

Man you're def starting out with more than most! I actually started growing 14 yrs ago with miracle grow and fluorescent lights and very little info available but I did grow weed.
I now use a 3x2x5 tent, biobizz lite mix, 2-3 ltr pots...and usually have 6 stuffed in the tent at a time.
I dont suggest starting out that way....but I do suggest starting small, reading a lot, and using great patience.
Even after this long of perpetually growing my meds, i still have to look at the babes a lot but learned long ago to let them do their thing...keep the environ in check and they'll provide juicy nugs.
Germing your beans will get you started...some do it this way, some do it that way....so many variations....I get 100% germ by simply planting my seeds, providing warmth and moisture and walk away. 3 days later...whoops there it is!

I really didn't think I could do more than 3, but I hear you. Is there any specific kind (size as well) of containers/buckets, soil, nutrients, etc. that you can recommend? Thanks man..

So, biobizz lite mix and 2-3 litre pots.. thank you, sir.
Much appreciated.

Keep in mind the size of the strains you have coming. 3 will be tight if they are larger ones. I am finishing up a grow now that will show you what 3 relatively small ones look like in there, and my growdrobe is slightly bigger than a 2x4.

Let me qualify all that by adding...I don't grow for yeild...just a healthy plant that usually gives me 1.5-2 oz per plant. I typically have 4-6 diff strains growing so I have a choice of meds and plenty to share.
BB lite mix has proven it's worth over these years as I never have to do anything but a lil water for 3 weeks, then less nutes is def more to keep the plant healthy.
I'm currently trying out some 3.5 ltr airpots as the small plastic pots do cause some root-bound probs.

First I smoke a blunt so I can think like the weed! then I like to set everything up a few days in advance of actually putting plants in and monitor actual temp & humity(get your highs and lows) and how your pots are going in for spacing. I'm old and a stoner so I learn better thinking it and doing it plus I think you might find how many plants actualy will fit tent or may discover space may be needed for bowl of water or other devices. If in house you may even need to adjust your house temps, etc ...... Some plants need temp drops (think all like it) to get colour in buds, so I figure out temp difference lights on and off then screw with my stuff (adjust heat on and off settings, etc) to try and get what you want to happen on the cheap. Keep in mind putting wet pots of soil will change stuff in tent but you'll have a base factor to work from. Smoke Break, so 1-2 more blunts then research your seeds and see if you can find any growing tips, schedules, odds facts about strains(this is important, makes you look smart when you can talk about what your smoking with your mates), etc .... I like to milk all the fun I can out of growing weed; making charts, tracking any crap I can, and I do like making lists or anything with numbers then I get side tracked and start watching secret Nazi's bases on the darkside of the moon videos. Just my two cents mate but make sure you have fun because that is the most important, cheers.

p.s. if you really want to get freaky mate; weather patterns for Hindo Kush Mtns Hindu Kush Valley & Mountains
