So my plant has suddenly decided to go droopy, she's 25 days old and it's been fine up until about 3 days ago when this started, I've not changed the water routine, I always let the pot feel light before watering to runoff but I'm not sure what to try now, it also looks like there's the begining of an Mg deficiency? I always pH going in to 6.5 and the runoff is also around that area. Humidity and temps are fine, lights are on 24hr, and I've been feeding Mega Crop every other watering at half dose. Any ideas or info I've missed? Thanks.

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate: night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: PH in the root zone. How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics!

Your older leaves dying off are of no concern and very normal...... Your plants to me eye appear to be overwatered, and if that isn't the case then I start leaning towards a root bound situation..... Also, I am not a believer in 24hrs of light, though I will acknowledge many do it with success. I believe a plant needs a dark period to rest and recover from a full light cycle of photosynthesis. In fact some of my best growth occurs during the dark period and some soil scientists have claimed that during the dark cycle is when the plant will send sugars to the microbes in the root zone which in turn causes the microbes to make plant soluble nutrients available. I don't know if that is 100% correct, I have encountered this train of thought in several seminars, and it has always stuck in my mind...

I believe a lights off rest period is more critical to health then many realize...As this is a natural process for all living plants including these amazing autoflowers that yes some species have adapted to a long light cycle, they can take alot even if it isnt ideal.... Now I am not saying this 24hr light cycle is causing this droop, but I will say I see this kind of droop in my gardens with certain cultivars and it is the plants way of telling me its tired from a long day of photosynthesis and needs rest and recovery... Also your plant is in flower, which means she has undergone many hormone changes as she is now focusing on bud production, also you may have increased light intensity by either cranking up the light or the plants simply stretching and being closer.... She may want rest at this point..... Some of these droopy clawed leaves may never recover and she will still bud out just fine..... Just a few thoughts for you.... Good luck!

I agree with the day length and recommend 18/6. The plants are hungry and in an attempt to bring more nutrients in they are taking in more water than they can respire making the leaves droopy. Up your nutrients to 75% of the chart. We get a lot of Bio-biz light Mix in the infirmary. It is not that it is a bad product it is just a really steep learning curve on when and what nutrients to add?

What is your PH in the root zone?

Thank you to you both for the help, the pH in the roots is around 6.5 but that's only from testing runoff, will it be ok to change the light cycle now that she's been under 24hr?

Yes it will be ok to change the light cycle...... I think this alone will help improve her health.....

Thanks again, you've been super informative. I'll give it a try and see how she goes.

AT first glance it looks to be over watering. Try letting it dry out a little and see what happens
