I have strange things afoot at the hacienda. I have several photo seedlings of various strains ALL going into flower which is absurd for this time of year (2nd month of spring). Apparently plants in flower send off airborne chemicals (pheromones ????) which will accelerate ripening / maturaton / flowering of nearby plants ??

I had autos & photos sown at the same time at start of spring. All grew well, autos auto'd on cue and the photos kept stretching. Two weeks later, 5 incredible bulks all started pre flowering, followed by skunk#1, then Blackskull 5-0. so now all my photos are in early stages of flowering....

This is all outdoor btw

Hypothesis....The large amount of autos I have in mid bloom have given off chemicals cuing the photos to go into flowering stage.... peer review please ....

I'd say the hours of light your receiving has more to do with flowering than anything.
Not knowing your exact location it appears you can have anywhere from 12.5 hrs of daylight in the north

To 13.6 hrs of daylight in the south.

Here is the daylight calculator so you can see exactly what your getting.
Hope this may help.:pass:

Mate, I have grown for years (photos), sown in Aug/Sep , harvest in April / May. This has happened now twice to me, only when I have had autos flowering. coincidence much ? Why would they go to flower with increasing daylight hours ?

Because it's still not enough light to induce veg, you need over 15-16 hours of light, increasing or not it's still thinks it's fall by how many hours it's getting, you can't show me a grower who can veg a photo on 13hours of light.

I agree with you.
I had 4 photos and 4 autos in a tent on 20/4 and when my autos started flowering my photos starter so I had to separate them and they ent back into veg and I topped them etch to remove flower production. Veryodd

13 hours of light is probably your problem if that is what your getting. I stagger grows some times putting my photos in at day 30-35 with my autos and have never had a photo flower. I have not done this a bunch but I think it has more to do with your 13 hours of day if that is what your getting at your location.

Magic, I refer to my first statement ... Mate, I have grown for years (photos), sown in Aug/Sep , harvest in April / May. This has happened now twice to me, only when I have had autos flowering. coincidence much ? Only time it has happened Magic.

Yes Trip, there is something to this, I can feel it , I just can't quantify it at the moment. It's not that odd, plants do communicate, and react twe just dont fully understand it.
