hey guys new grower anyone on here have exp with hydroton only watering and neutrant feeding I'm on day 9 one girl is as expected but blueberry is crazy slow night temps 68-72 day temps not above 78ish ec is .61 using ro water start is .08 ph is 5.8 water temp 68 to 72 room 3x4x8 using 105 watt CFL 6500 for now planning on slowly introducing my bestva 2000w light bout day 14-16 just need some pointers thanks all and keep up the good work

Can you be a bit more specific? I’ve used hydrotron but only for dwc and to cover the tops of my grow medium, that’s about it. Worked very well for both.

I ran flood and drain with hydroton, but that was over a decade ago. Not a lot different than running coco, or dwc. An inert medium that you supply all nutritional needs. Temps are a bit low for optimal growth. Temps would be fine under HPS (72-76), but without the IR, temps need to be 78 to 82 to hit optimal growth.

Good luck!

Growing when the other half ain't into it usually doesn't end well...
Some solutions are better than others...

FYI if you’re running an inert medium with led. They WILL need plenty of cal mag. Also measure your leaf surface temps not your room temps. I keep my thermometers at the canopy plus have a laser thermometer as well. Keep mine at the high seventies low to mid eighties
