Harvest & Curing Humidity packs yes or no?

I've read they affect flavor as well, but never heard the brown thing.

I use them to nudge humidity to target levels and only when needed. After I hit the target, they come out.

Boveda is in every jar of mine. It must affect some of my product because I get the same specific odor in many of my jars. Never had a problem with potency.

I use them, and doubt that they can hurt anything. They are just a mixture of salt and water contained in a vapor permeable package. Once curing is stabilized at ~62% in my jars, the Bovedas come out, but mostly just because I am cheap and want to re-use them if they still have life, which they usually do in my approach because I cut into bud early rather than risking over drying.

Anyone who needs to check the idea that they are doing harm should seal one or two of them in a clean canning jar, and seeing whether any kind of odour develops. They might consider sealing with an aluminum foil layer to make sure that the rubber seal does not complicate things. And report back here... :goodluck:

Could this be a sign that the Bovedas result in a more consistent cure which in turn causes similarity in the final odour?

i have them in numerous jars and i dont feel they change the texture or quality of my buds also there great to have on standby if you slightly overdry your weed also same as @Olderfart says i put them in for longer-term storage as well

In all of my jars. Very nice stable rh in there is a good thing. Also have one in my King Palms pak.
If there's a change in taste,it's for the better!

I got the sample kit and there is a pack in every jar and tub I have weed in!!

The rumor that Boveda removes terpenes originated from a single study that Desiccare, literally their only main competitor for what is a very similar product, put out to try to prove their own product is superior (and nothing against Desiccare, but that's a shady, shitty move.) Their main claim is that Boveda packets off-gas acetone gas (again, I don't believe this has been substantiated by anyone other than Desiccare lol...)

I've used both Boveda and Integra packs, never noticed any loss of terpenes, and I push BOTH products to every dispensary I see because they legitimately work. We've started using the large 58% packets at our commercial grow for our storage.
