Hi!

A couple of questions!

One is regarding biobizz schedule.
When reading the schedule that I've found they always say "flowering" period starts at week 2. And that's when you start adding a lot of different nutrients. But aren't week 2 still vegetative?
Flowering should be later if I'm not wrong. Depends of course on which auto strain you have.

Regarding humidity.
Is it better to keep a stable humidity between 30-40% all the time . Or spiking humidity up to 40-60% for 4-5 hours, then going down to 20-30 a couple of hours and spiking up again.
Because that's the options I seem to have in my grow tent and with my humidifier. If I don't add a second unit in there.

I start bloom nutes around week 5 for most strains. Maybe later for longer running strains.
Probably best to keep your humidity steady.
Ideally you would want 50-60% in veg and 40-50% in flowering.
But they will grow well in most conditions.

As long as its not to high in late flowering youll be alright dude

Hi Cookieman :D Welcome to AFN!

Assuming you're also using biobizz soil (or similar), you won't need to add anything for a couple of weeks! Just the old regular water.

Autoflowers can sex at day 20 (showing female) but real flowering - to the point where you need to add flowering boosters wouldn't typically be until vertical stretch has slowed and your focusing on bud production (day 40ish)

There's some great help articals sticked in the new growers forum, like the life cycle of an autoflower. Or loads of journals regularly updated to see how they typically should gro.

You can check my last one if you like, its in my signature called biotabs.

As for humdity, you're better with a higher humidity for Veg and during flowering it would be preferable to keep a low humidity (like 30-40) to avoid mold and budrot.

Hope this helps :D

Many start flowering nutes when vertical growth has stopped. I just eyeball it for when I add nutes.

Thanks for all the answers.

Yeah I think I'll just have to watch for the flowering to start show, or start adding around week 5ish.
I'll continue with "grow" and "heaven". But I think I'll have to cut back.
Feels like they have nutrient burn.
They look weird, though it could be because I had heat/humidity issues the first week/s.

I know about the "best" humidity in veg and flower state. I was just wondering if a stable, although on the low side, was better then spiking humidity.
Anyways, I'll be going for stable humidity. My humidifier makes it way to wet when on a higher setting.

As it is now I think I've found the best settings.
I got between 25-29 Celsius temperature and 30-40 % humidity.

Hey Cookieman,

I'm a new grower but am using Biobizz grow & bloom.. Only used half the recommended dose my entire grow and it's worked well for me. I've been told auto's are more sensitive to nute burn. Good luck with your grow

Heres the schedule i used for autos mate. Might give you an idea of roughly what to feed.

Is that every water, except as noted?

It was just the silicon additive i fed every other time.
This schedule works pretty well by feed-plainwater- feed too
