Not sure but found this on another site regarding Gravity - http://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/312694-humboldt-countys-own-gravity.html

"so this is going to be a product review... obviously the product's name is in the title...

what gravity is, for those who haven't heard of it, is a late stage flower hardener/denser... you use it about 3 weeks prior to harvest.. and it is supposed to make your flower super hard and super dense... thusly adding weight to your flowers... this sounded great to me so i picked up a small bottle...

i read the label and it was somewhat vague.. actually it sorta scared me... the dosages they recommend using are ultra low... which means its a VERY strong product... plus it says to use on only healthy plants... which again leads to be a strong product...

when i started researching the product on the internet i came up with a lot of mixed responses... same said it worked.. some said it didnt.. some said it just burnt the shit out of their plants... it was close to a 50/50 response.. but it was enough to make me really consider whether or not to try it out...

after a long time thinking i decided to break down and try it out in my hydro system... i have girls about 3 weeks from flower.. so it seemed like a good time.. i mean, i cant have my own opinion without actually using it.. the label said to use 1 to 2 ml per gallon of water and run 5 to 12 days... yes, that is a very large window... but it seems that all crops vary with use of this stuff.. so the company pretty much says "go lighter for longer, or heavier for a shorter time" when using their product...

i ended up running 40ml in a 55 gallon res for 7 days.... here are the results...

POSITIVE - ill start out by saying this product works amazingly.. it does EXACTLY what it says it does... the flowers on my plants are rock hard at this time...

before using gravity i thought i was going to make it through flowering with minimal supporting of my girls.. just a few branches here and there.. well those that wanted to start bending under their own weight had to be quickly supported the best i could... otherwise they would be laying on the ground right now... and the girls i thought could support themselves without question, are now starting to lean.... and trust me when i say its not due to weak stems... the colas are definitely that heavy from the extra weight put on them during the week run... so i warn you, if you use this product, dont assume any of your plants are going to hold the weight put on up... support them early!!

NEGATIVE - 2 things... the first is that they claim gravity will add on mass as well as density/weight... i didnt notice that... i have seen some swelling of course.. but nothing out of the ordinary... same as i would have seen other wise... not that its a big deal.. just dont use it expecting it to be a bloom booster... it may help some.. but not much....

also, take extreme caution when using this product... everything i read about them burning your plants is true.. this stuff is STRONG... but that doesnt make it bad or unusable.. you just need to be on the side of caution... i ran a little under 1/2 strength of what they said to use and still got burn.. not enough to ruin anything.. but it was noticeable.. especially on the flowers directly under the lights... they got a little cripsy... but again nothing that made me stop running it and flush the plants... bottom line, go easy with this... it doesnt take much for it to work....

i would post pics except for some reason on i havent been able to post them for a while... and also because you cant actually see the density of the flowers... but i will say that it does work.. just be careful."

As far as we know Snow Storm Ultra has no rivals or competition. It is a concentrated blend of potassium that according to the manufacturer will blow crystals all over. With a very reasonable price tag, it was worth giving it a shot.
In The Field:

A rare situation of a product being under promoted, under utilized, and below the radar. Snow Storm Ultra does exactly what it implies. Within 3 days of application, a noticibly large increase of trichome production was visible, and within 7 days the entire flower was frosted like a christmas morning in Canada.

*Update 11/12/2011
Well we have had a lot more time with Snow Storm Ultra and we have a slightly better understanding of it now. It seems, much like it's sister product Purple Maxx, that Snow Storm Ultra can be very strain dependent. When testing this product on certain strains we found there were noticeable difference in how well it worked. In some strains we noticed little to no difference, while in others there was a substansial amount of different.
Humbolt County's Own has also release a new product called Crystal Burst that does something similar, and from what we are hearing if used in conjunction with Snow Storm Ultra, some really amazing crystal products takes place. We will be testing this out soon, so keep a look out for that!
Final Thoughts:

We were completely blown away by Snow Storm Ultra's performance, and would recommend everyone using it! A word of caution though, the bottle does say that you should include a small amount of 35% hydrogen peroxide in your resevior to help prevent gunky buildup.

As we said above in our update, Snow Storm Ultra appears to be very strain dependant. You might want to try just a few plants, or a small batch of plants in your first trials with Snow Storm ultra."

ALL 3 Products review - https://www.greenpassion.org/index....t-countys-own-gravity-snow-storm-purple-maxx/

"Prior to trying these products myself, I read extensive reviews I could find, which all seemed kind of spotty.
But the pattern seems to be slanted towards they are a very intense product. My experience bears that out. They are certainly anything but snake oil.

I grow mostly organic, guano's, castiings, coir, etc, but cheat with some Fox Farm Tiger Bloom or Grow Big, as I pack a lot of plants in a small space, 1 gallon pots. I was searching for ways to increase trichomes, yield, and flavor. Heck, that's what everyone advertises, lol. So I ordered some Gravity, and they sent me a free sample of Purple Maxx. Here's what happened:

I've been keeping two favorites going for awhile, NYC Diesel Ryder, that's actually more like just NYC/Brazil now. I just made about 100 seeds off the original Joint Doctor Diesel Ryders, and only one has auto flowered to date, which is fine, they are kick butt Diesel Dominant plants. The other's a personal cross between High Grades Purple Cindy and White Label Skunk #1 (Skunky Cindy) that is just the perfect plant, huge nugs, self manicuring, quick flowering, wicked, trippy, intense, sativa high to impress your friends! I'm on about my 5th round of clones from the mom, as saved no seeds. The point is, I know what these look like WITHOUT using Humbolt.

First, after about 4 weeks of flower, I followed the directions, and added 1/4 teaspoon to a gallon of the Purple Maxx and watered all the plants. It calls for like 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons, and you're thinking, that can't do anything! Right, like a drop of purple micro dot can't send a 200 # man on a trip for 12 hours either. Within 24 hours, out of 23 plants, 2 turned significantly purple, most tips burned, and about 50% showed some purple tones. BUT, 3 plants turned ridiculously white, I mean with crystals virtually completely covering the entire plant, even big fan leaves. I've never seen anything like it, I thought I'd killed 'em! Virtually all the other plants showed substantial visible trich increases, those furthest along in flowering showing the most.

Now, I was so impressed I ordered a whole bottle of Purple Maxx, and they sent a free sample of Snow Storm, and being an overachiever I'm using them all as per their latest feeding schedules. But here's the downside, I used them much too early. My crops going to be ok, but they force massive changes in finishing times, like the plant will still take ten weeks, but it steps up the resin so much, they don't bulk up. After that, most of what I found suggested waiting till 3 weeks before finish, in which case I think it would be even more spectacular. In other words, get the buds nice and fat, then blast em with Gravity, Snowstorm, and Purple Maxx.

For dosage, they don't seem to mind the Snow Storm at 1 t per gal, while the Purple Maxx was only 1/4 t per gal. Gravity at 1/2 t per gal, and all of these only once per week. AND DO NOT FEED!!! If 1/4 t of Maxx will burn, the others will fry your garden! They advise cutting back to 1/4 the nutes. Since I mix guano, and re-use coir, you don't know what all is in there, no matter how much you flush. So I used with either plain water or molasses, on my off feeding watering.

Also, these all seem to be rather strain specific as well. The NYC Diesel reacted much more dramatically than the Skunky Cindy, and that by pheno. The Skunky Cindy is just now, about 2 weeks before finish, showing significant trichome production, beyond what I'm used too with this strain, looks like someone sprayed sugar on them. ALL burned with the Purple Maxx, even at the smallest dosage. I also saw significantly earlier yellowing of fan leaves, and suggest this is due to the massive nutrient uptake these products are designed to stimulate. Which is why you want to be very careful how rich your medium is, prior to using. Adding Snow Storm and Gravity didn't seem to aggravate any tip burn, leading me to conclude the Maxx a little more dangerous. Yes, I know, Snow Storm and Maxx were the Stalker product subdivided. The Maxx advertises enhanced colors and brightness, Snow Storm essential oil(read thc, lol) production. I don't feed much besides molasses and/or Liquid Karma the last 3 weeks anyway, but I think the latest schedule starts the Maxx 4 weeks before finish. I'd suggest adding it on your off feeding watering, just to be safe. Hydro growers, I can't help you, but would assume the results would be equal or better.

The proof is in the smoke. Just vaped the first Diesel plant with a buddie last night, and we we're both impressed. And that wasn't even cured, only dried for 10 days, and about 1 in the jar(couldn't wait!). But it was significantly better than the previous diesels. I had some Diesel that was 8 months in jars, that was just astounding, and this was gnarly right out of the gate.

The other thing I noticed, and hadn't even thought about, was the bag appeal. I had a quart jar of the Diesel sitting next to some Skunky Cindy grown without Humbolt County last night, and took them both in under the light to look. The diesel bud color, for lack of a better description, was "vibrant". Very intense, gorgeous deep green. Kind of like changing picture modes on your new flat screen from normal to Dynamic.

Ok, that's about it. I hadn't been able to really find anything extensive about personal experience with this stuff, just bits and pieces. I am by no means an expert, this is just my one grow experience. But my personal results were certainly enough to say, "Hey, there's something here, if I can dial it it". I have another batch of Skunky Cindy clones, as well as Landrace Thai and Columbia Gold I'll be flowering in about a week. Will I try to do it right with Humbolt County's Own this time? YOU BETCHA!!!

Hope this has been helpful, and I look forward to hearing your experience and comments. Will try to attach a few pics later."
