Figured I might as well join the cool kids and start a grow journal. I've been gardening a long time, but I'm new to cannabis gardening. Im growing in a dedicated grow room in my basement. It's the same place I start all my seedlings for the garden each year. That's actually the main reason I went with autos. If I had to do a 12/12 light schedule, it would mess up my vegetable seedlings. I'm toying with the idea of building a flowering tent, but for now they are just in the open. Started 2 Sweet Nurse CBD and one Hubbabubba on 12/21 using the papertowel method. They all popped in 24 hours and were transferred to 4" seedling pots. One of the Sweet Nurses didnt make it any further, so on 12/24 I popped another. Everyone was transferred to their permanent home of 7 gallon fabric pots on 1/6. Since transfer, they have exploded. I definitely stunted them early on by watering too much. They are under my 2x3 DIY LED panel thats making just shy of 300W (Bridge strips and HLG driver, if you're curious) in a custom mixed Living Soil. When I transferred them to the big pots, I top dressed with EWC, Alfalfa meal, Barely meal and kelp meal. They have received plain water for every watering (which is about every 4 days at this point) with the exception of one watering that i mixed in some molasses. SN#1 and HBSS are doing really well. The SN#2 has a funky growth pattern, but I'm letting her do her thing out of curiosity.
Anyway, onto the picture show! Let me know what y'all think.
SN#1 was the first to break on through to the other side
SN#2 (or [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] depending on how you count it) on the left and HBSS on the right at a few days old.
They look so little in their new home! (1/6/19)
SN#2 at about a month old. Shes growing with alternating nodes instead of opposite like you'd expect. Also check out her lower leaves. They were symmetrical, which is the weirdest part. Now she's showing signs of having two main colas. I've been monitoring her closely for signs of hermy-ism. So far, we're good to go. /crosses fingers
HBSS at about a month.
HBSS starting to show sex.
SN#2 at about a month. She's really taken off. I'm pretty stoked about how well shes growing. She's starting to show sex as well.
