Sorry about the lack of updates but the holidays were crazy as ever and there's not too much to update about yet. Going slower than I wanted to but just saw roots pop out if the basket 3 days ago since then it's picked up the pace above and below this seed had a tough time getting going it started out very yellow for the first few days out of it's seed and stretched up more than I would have liked it to. Day 11 it was looking like it needed a boost in nutes and calcium so I mixed up a new bucket with .5g/L grow and .2g/L cal let it sit this time and bubble for a few hours before PHing, ph'd to 5.6 and it slow worked up to 6.0 where it's staying till the next bucket change. But anyway here's some pics from yesterday(day 18)
Well I saw some explosive growth from day 20 to 27 then I over fed and hurt this og pretty bad(damage happened fast, I gave it it's new bucket 3 hours before lights off then checked it then next morning 8 hours later)I thought I was loosing her, leaves from top to bottom were straight down and curled up tight at the tips. Flushed for 12 hours in a bucket of just ph 5.5 water then put it back into a lighter feed. She's been picking up but the burns and some leaf curl will be there till the end I'm sure. Took the bottom leaves and branches off due to how damaged they were. I'm very pleased to see her pick her leaves up more to the light everyday, I apologize to her every time I open up the tent, I feel lucky she is still trying to do her thing for me. Here's a pic from yesterday(day 34 I believe) skinny and tall but alive and despite hating me I think she digs the ProMAXgrow 600 light she's under.
Remember with hydro it's not what you want to feed them but rather what they want to feed on! I trust you have a PPM or EC meter right? If you are checking your solution levels and understand what the plant is telling you, by the PPM/EC levels in the bucket you should not be able to over feed in a bubble bucket. How are you determining your feed levels?
Everyone is gonna give me flack for this one! No ppm or ec meter just ph. Just giving it my best go because I had the bucket laying around and some seeds I'm using green house seeds powder feeding which is supposed to be very simple but because I'm lacking a ppm meter so it's hard to judge how much calcium to add. In addition to that my towns water seems to not be steady and also the ph buffer ( believe they use lime) in the water won't let me get my ph to stay where I want it. I'll get it to say 5.7 4 days in a row and keeps going up because the ph buffer in the water. So before another hydro run I'll grab an R.O. System and a ppm meeter if not an ec meter aswell.
