Just put these beans into a soak today so I decided to finally make an account here and have some fun trying to keep a forum of this grow. Well I'm not sure what my intentions are with this grow one bit except for it to go off without any set backs(as if that's an actual thing). I've grown a few autos indoors(nothing huge but quality was there) and a few outdoors(never goes great with where I live). So I want to see what I can get out of these girls! I have 2 og kush autos from humboldt seed organization and 4 devil cream from sweet seeds all sitting in ph 5.6 water with superthrive. Besides the seeds and nutes nothing is decided, I'm not sure if I want to run promix hp (my usual) or switch it up with coco and perlite and run a hydro. Also I haven't picked out my pots. I have 2 choices I'm considering , 2 gallon grow bags or 4 gal square pots. I also am not sure if I want to start under the t5 with veg bulbs or a 400w led(400w on grow and bloom, has a growth setting for less power usage with more focused veg spectrum of course) . As for food I'm going with green house powder feeding, using grow and short bloom. I also use advanced iguana juice bloom and roots organics HPK. I throw in small doses of madfarmer MOAB a couple times in early flower to help make more bud sites and at the very end just before flush to help finish and frost up. I could set up a scrog net or just let them go , or do some lst. I'm just hoping for some input to help me see how to really get autos yielding for me, but I'll make choices myself as they come up if I have to and keep updates coming
Okay I've figured a few things out... First off I'm going to make this thread all about the og kush auto from humboldt, starting another thread with just the sweet seeds devil cream. The og kush auto is going to be done in 5 gal dwc. First hydro attempt so if you have any tips on hydro please let me know.
I see one seed should be breaking the surface tonight so I mixed up 3.5 gallons of light feed (.2g/L of grow, .1g/L calcium and 1.5ml of superthrive ph5.5) and put it in a 5 gallon bucket and got my air going. I'm not sure if I should use superthrive in the hydro like this so if not let me know. Any tips really would be sweet, not sure if I even should be giving food yet Besides this being the first go at hydro I also just got a new light in the mail today and this is going to go under that to test it out.
Hi Shugers, I use Hydro and let my ph move between 5.4 - 6.2 with no ill effects. Other than the time my ph meter needed calibration and it messed a grow up. I just got some og kush seeds today so will enjoy keeping a eye on your grow.

Hasn't moved much in the past 24 hours , but it went up to 6.6 at one point. Thanks for coming by Jax , I haven't come across too much on this auto but what I have seen is they grow tall and take longer to finish than most autos.
The ph is holding steady now for sure, I wasn't feeling good about how much it moved at first so next time I mix a bucket I'll have an air stone in it for a few hours before PHing the solution. No roots coming out of the net pot so far , though it does seem I be progressing along faster than the devil creams that popped up a little faster at first.
P.s. @Hansbricks the og is under the PMG600 the Devil Cream is under a 4ft 4 bulb HO T5;p I'm thinking about keeping one DC under the t5 when they make the move to under the PMG600 as a little test, because the T5 @160w draw should do better than the pmg600 @125w draw especially if you say a 96w t5 would probably out do it .
I forgot to add in that my water temps are 68F right when the lights kick on and peak at 72F, going to do some temp research right now to see if that's acceptable.
