Indoor HPG early erbeer x Lr2

Highly unlikely but a few f1 crosses have shown auto will most likely highly resemble LR2 and the percentages r probably very low.
Is it normal then for sexing so young? Also they are growing almost as fast as an auto so far. Maybe its just me thinking they are. But they are about 16" to 18" tall right now.

Healing Path Genetics @StickMan @tobe gave me a chance to try some photos they have come up with.

From what I've gathered the erdbeer is a swiss strain known for strawberry taste. That alone sold me, but to make it better it has been crossed with LR which should speed flowering dramatically.

So far thats all I got, can't find anyone who has documented the cross yet.

Here they are at about 3-4 weeks I believe. But I dropped both beans in water for 24hrs, then straight to dirt. 36hrs later I had life from both. View attachment 1024800View attachment 1024801 View attachment 1024802

Looking outstanding my friend!
As far as I know you are the first one to grow this cross out.

Here is the info from Seed Finder UK. Tobe acquired pollen from the Swiss breeder (Knopse) who is the main one working with this.
Erdbeer :: Cannabis Strain Infos

Official Information / Basics about Erdbeer from Clone Only Strains

Strain Name

Erdbeer

Breeder

Clone Only

Location

indoor, outdoor

Type

mostly sativa

Flowering

~55 days

Seeds

Available as clone only.

Aka: Strawberry

The Erdbeer is a clone-only genetic since about 1994, based in Switzerland, where it was once very common. The basic genetics are unknown. It is likely to be a sativa with Afghani genes.

The strawberry clones were used for some crosses. The version of the Green Hornet is probably the best known and is the closest clone. A Swiss farmer phoned the breeder and said he had found in a field full of strawberry plants a single male cannabis plant full of pollen sacs. He dusted the "Original Swiss Strawberry" to breed. Most likely this male plant was but another unknown species.

I'm not sure on the auto, I do know they showed sex without 12\12. If you happen to find more info please share.

So with the LR2 they may auto for me?

These are F1s, so typically only 25% chance of auto phenotypes showing up in the F1 generation. These will certainly be fast though.

Peace

How old are the plants shown in first post.
You can be assured phenotypes that show autoflower at 24 hours are indeed fully auto, but 18/6 can fool you.
Would be awesome if these were both autos in F1.

Okay I just checked and drop was Jan 30 2019 and first life on Feb 1st. They are just now at 33 days. Transplated from solo cups to 3 gal pots on day 30 when sex showed.

@StickMan
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks a bunch! I've started training them but won't treat them like a photo for a few more weeks to make sure. But by flower time I want them both to fill my 4x8 for 12/12.

I havent done photos in a few years and last time I did I had 4 or 5 months in training with not a lady part anywhere. So I'm thinking they may auto on me.

Stone gifted me Erdbeer x C99 photo fem which will likely run longer.
Stone mislabeled those.
What you have there is Ierdbei or some spell it Erdebei.
Also the C99 is C99auto. So will finish for you no problem.

Here is the info on Ierdbei:

Type: short and bushy
Harvest-time: end of sept/begin oct
Harvest: 200-400 gram
Taste: strong
Effect: stoned

Ierdbei is the Frisian version of the well known and robust Swiss strain ‘Erdbeer’ (=strawberry).

Most plants in this line exhibit a short stocky appearance and combine excellent potency with a good flower to leaf ratio. In general two distinctive phenotypes can be found; a Sativa side which carries traits of Jack Herer and a more Indica type which is influenced by Black Domina. The basis of this line was constructed out of several good paternal lines (crosses of Jack Herer, Citral, Black Domina, Swiss Miss) and an especially resinous Erdbeer#Purpurea Ticinensis maternal line.

. Overall the Erdbeer comes through very strongly in both phenotypes, giving hard dense buds with little effort. In general both phenotypes show long slender, and tight buds which are less susceptible to grey mold/Botrytis cinerea. Next to this they are a breeze to harvest without much manicuring.

The high comes on strong but eases a bit with time spend in storage, still it packs a good punch and especially the Domina influenced types are typical day-enders with great medicinal potency. Taste is somewhat ‘earthy’ and strong, curing should be done to get the maximum potential. Ierdbei is the perfect choice for commercial outdoor cultivation in difficult area’s like Northern Holland & Germany. One of our all time favourites!

Thanks @StickMan ! Looking forward to an outdoor grow very soon!
