i make mine right in the plastic jug the water comes in then store it in a plastic milk jug , as long as the jar/jug is food grade your fine , there hasnt been any ill effects to me not useing glass , i also store mine at room temp in a dark cupboard , oldest ive used is 3 months old and still worked perfectly
id write up a proper tutorial but whenever i try things like that im at a loss for words
most importantly you need
PURE ZERO PPM distilled water (easiest to find zero ppm distilled in the drinking water section) , second most important is LOW VOLTS as this makes for smaller useable coloids unlike when people use higher volts creating a slur of large unuseable coloids and 200 ppm (rolls eyes) , third , use an air pump and air stone while making it , you dont have to but it is honestly a good idea for a better end product and less clumps (clumps we cant see but clumps none the less)
when useing a 12 volt ac adapter or less (look for 9 volts , they look the same) and everything else i mentioned , within 8-12 hours you will have approx 40 ppm of pure useable CS , and
YES 30-40 ppm is all you need when made properly with only small useable coloids and no big ass clumpy coloids made at to high voltage
your properly made CS will be crystal clear with
NO color change whatsoever , the only way to see your coloids is to shoot through your container with a cheap dollar store lazer pointer , you will see in the beam all the coloids floating in the water
i hope this helps people new to CS and people who may have been going about it the wrong way
peace
Edit : here is a pic of my ac adaptor spliced onto my silver rods/wires , and yes i know i should have cleaned them right after i last used em , it would have been easier to do so then , i also put an air hose through the cap of my jug of water , the rods/wires i put one each on each side of the jugs opening/spout , i used a small finishing nail to make the holes ,,,,
peace again
