Hey guys! I'm a bloody beginner, so i hope u don't hang my high for stupid questions...

Well... i Ordered 5 seeds the last time, put em into kitchen paper in darkness and tried to keep em nice warm n wet. When i put the seeds witch the little white tail into the ground then, only ONE survived (she's growing pretty well now), another one died wenn sticking her head out (it turned brown on the first little round leavs and didn't spread em...) and the other 3 bitches didn't come out the earth at all... over 1 week passed now, so i just got one chica at the moment...

so... i ordered 5 more seeds!

the question is how to start now. i thought about putting them into earth(growmix) directly, store em in a little "grow house" which should keep humidity and warmth, and put em under the light (which is 400W) where my other , germinated little seedling stands..

is this a bad idea, or what ? please help out !
gracias

What's up man welcome to AFN .....ur In the best place now ...what I've learned since I been here is that I soak them in Ph water to 6.5 for about 24 hours some take less ....after 12 hours I usually tap the seed if its still floating ....if it sinks to the bottom I usually then go into paper towerl and then check again after 12 hours or so .....I usually end up checking every 6 hours ...

I use a heating pad set to 74 degrees thishelps a lot as it cause a lil humidity I believe .....

Also check ur seed bank reviews and only order from repitble banks bro .....there is tons of shistees skiing bullshit seeds ....

may I ask where they from??

Also if u need some better sucess start another thread with ur soil conditions of western ...if they outdoors ...I see u said Light and greenhouse .....

Usually that helps as to the breeders and Mods people who run the site are usually lab pros IR just growers who have been doing it for years .....could be the dirt is to hot for nutrients and burning them

Hope this helps ya bro!!! Once again wecolme to AFN

Hey I'm a Noob too! but I have had 100% germination success so far. I get a zip bag and some clean tissue paper, wet the tissue (not drenched tho) fold it until it fits into bag then unfold it a bit and carefully place the seeds inside it fold it back up pop it in the bag and put it somewhere warm like my airing cupboard then check it every 12 hrs and when the tap root is showing I place into my grow medium water slightly and cover pot with clingfilm to keep it moist for a few days.

thanks for yo fast request !

there from nirvanashop, netherlands, shouldnt be bad... i guess ive done simply too much mistakes...nevertheless

i think about leving this shit to my stepdad, he wanna do it like he does it with his lil tomatos, put em in earth or jiffys directly (without watering them and without the kitchen paper thang) keep em wet and put em on the window board

Of course man I have had some not germ this way ....try em.aging by throwing them.into straight dirt them.come up a few days later ....I dunno much about Nirvana But I have seen some places there seed stock was bad for a while but now some are saying its back to normal ....guess its gambling yo ....

The jiffy pellets are the way to go I'm bout to start doing that way as well .....the lil green house containers ....

I just had a bunch o seeds wouldn't pop but tossed the same seeds in dirt an whaa la ...babies ....good luck bro also there a lot of Tue best info here ....what soils do u plan to use Nutrients lighting schedule all the good detail

Sometimes it is best to keep things simple. I have moved from the paper towel method to simply planting them directly into moist soil in their final container.

Simply touching the germed seed/sprouting can damage the tissue and cause runts, deformations, and slow growth - which typically ends up with similar results you have had in the past. Not to mention the tap root gets used to the direction it needs to grow and usually it is impossible to place it in the soil exactly how it sprouted. Again - this stresses the plant.

Everyone has their method which works best for them, but don't be afraid of starting simple! Best of luck to you!

Id say start a thread with ur seedbank and name of strain then. Some of the mods can gibe more details if its a strain they have grown ....some strains can eat moderate nutrient feedings ...some can't handle a lot of nutes .....these are a few things I wish I knew before I started .......stay away from slow release Nutrition soil .....no Buenos ....

well look; grow in an empty room at grans house, no growbox, only 400hps and a fan, white walls though. like i said it's my first time low budget just tryout shit .
got earth from the growshop, plagron grow mix... when they seem strong enough after two weeks or so i plan to give nutrients for roots, when see signs of flower give them the flower goodies. thats the thing. lighnting for northern lights auto from nirvana is 18/6 now i ordered non-auto bubbleicious seeds, will add em to the auto, give em straight the 18/6 too...fan only is on at nighttime, evere 45 mins. for 15mins. !

Good luck bro ....wish ya the best!!!! ....I haven't grown an open grow but I've seen some that do ....I even have seen cardboard boxes lined with aluminum foil and get some plants ....after a month veg u can put the non auto in 12/12 then wait a few weeks for sex ....autos run 18/6 all the way through till harvest ...some do 20/4 ..but ull get some fat nice bids with the HPS ....

I USE COCO fiber and Biomax compost but I have made organic compost from the organics forum .....the coco compost I use makes 50 Gallons For around 60$ .....and I feed them ....I am also doing a super soil that requires water only till late harvest then I'm gonna use bloom enhancer ....

What u using for rooting nutes!!!!
