Hey guys, my girl is at day 23 and is going great despite a few hiccups along the way, she started pre flowering on day 20 :) She is close to 40cm and is getting noticeable in my garden how can I start flowering asap? Can I give her flower nutes now?

If she's an auto she should just start getting Lil fuzzy cluster buds, if not you can induce by switching flower to 12/12. Personally I had 2 of my 5 "autos" start preflowering at 40 days when the other 3 were already forming nugs, so I had the choice to flip the time and risk screwing the other 3 up other just cutting them.... I just cut them, my 3 chick's that are left are doing great.

auto flowers do there own thing and pre flower i don't think ur able to do that

Hey man. Preflowering means flowering has begun and you can indeed switch to flowering nutes but most people wait till around day 35-40 when the stretch has finished... but some people ONLY feed their plants bloom nutes from start to finish. I guess if you start flowering nutes now she might not stretch as much.
best of luck!

girls got 8 hrs sun today!! today's pics form my grow!! Day 29 for plant 1 and 2. the two in big pot are day 15, no nutes just 6.2 ph water!! Soil for all pots is 40 %- perlite (MG washed) 30%- jiffy seed starter (ph-7) 30%- sphagnum moss (MG)... any thoughts or advice???

You can cover it with a trash can..?. I read on here yesterday, that if you want to really force flowering.. to give them 24hrs with lights out..
The feeding chart I use says to use flower nutes when the buds start to become noticeable.. I switched over at about 2 and a half weeks into flower..
:pass:

I'm not sure it is posible, due to genetics.
However, I have an experiment going. One of my plants got a stem damage during manipulation of the seedling. She is 12 cm, her sister 42 cm.

Brother @DarkGreen wrote he forced an auto into flowering by using Advanced Nutrients Overdrive by accident. I try to do the same. I feed the little plant overdosed of everything. The result may be that I kill her.

It wasn't me bro, another user who actually has a couple of guys looking after his grow, had the experience with AN Overdrive.

I dunno how to link threads but if you search for the user Bunny, and his DP daiquiri lime grow, you'll see what happened.

Unbelievably, he pulled the grow around, even though his 'helpers' had been using the flower finishing overdrive since day 15!

Just roamed to chek on my above opinion on genetics...many people agree with me in that you cannot force it. It has the circadian clock of a C. ruderalis. Circadian clocks are our internal clocks, biochemical systems that regulate genetically determined, but time dependent biological processes. It is a circadian clock that decides for an auto to flower, as well as putting a bear into hibernation. Also, a circadian clock, determining your melatonin secretion, conseqently determins when you get tired in the evening.
